Hanging Heaton? is that Ossett way Kissa? How about you and I try for a round at Malton GC one Saturday morning. I'm a country member there as I spend most weekends back in Yorkshire. Going to Spain on Saturday for a weeks golf so will be good getting the legs out again and seeing the fairways run and bounce a bit. Playing Marbella Golf & Country Club plus a round on all 3 -courses at La Cala
Australia is too far (Josh) and the weather in GB is awful so lets do it in California where the weather is almost perfect year round and plenty of good courses to choose from!
Played every course you have mentioned there mate can deffo go for a game although Maltons a bit of a treck but don't see why not. Hanging Heaton is near Ossett mate yeah only a 9 holer but its ideal for me
Doc,you should be in for good weather, If you get down estepona way (20mins) from marbella give me a shout. Marbella club is a nice course,don't know about the cala.
Weather is almost too good for golf at the moment here, getting to 40 degrees and not even summer yet. Already struggling with the heat out on the course so think I may give it up over the summer and return when its cooler. Its very much a winter sport over here Although, if anyone does ever come to australia, definitely bring your clubs because there are an abundance of truly phenomenal golf courses over here. English ones don't compare, haven't played golf in the US so not sure how it compares over there.
From one extreme to the other. Found Fixby quite a posh club (great course though), although not quite as posh as Woodsome Hall. I remember the tough par 3 at Hanging Heaton near the middle of the round (overlooking the housing estate), think I had to hit a rescue wood just to clear the trouble!
I was a member at Fixby and Woodsome but just for the golf, was always a social member at Hanging Heaton can't do with snobbery I had to join them courses to get recognised by district and yorkshire. I've hit everything from an 8 iron to driver wedge to that par 3 mate, also had a hole in one on it 249 yards over a quarry haha
Same mate, having to sit in a separate room after the round at Woodsome Hall and wear jacket and tie as juniors I thought was taking it to the extreme a bit. Some going to have a hole in one on that length of hole, could you even see it go in from the tee?

Been a member at Crow Nest Golf Club for around the last 10 years. Good quality course for a 9 hole club as the greens are normally in top condition. Although, played most courses around Halifax/Huddersfield area in Junior matches.

Yeah saw the info about it on the website, would normally have been playing in the comp Saturday and in the club house, but decided to go to Leeds game I'm 22, used to play at either 2nd or 3rd man.
Played Hanging Heaton once, tricky little nine hole course. I used to be at Howley Hall when i was in UK, now member of Doha GC, where they host the Qatar Masters on the European tour.
