    I'm bored...

Were winning and were not conceding.
No one is playing amazingly but no-one is playing that badly..
We're top and clear and having fun..

Could someone (Col, Fing, swords, Oddball) please start a Tarbs thread to bring some life back to our bored?

Go on Col...you know you want too......!!!! <laugh>

I am off to surfing in Morocco Saturday and will be taking my Taarabt blanket with me. I hope to look for a few local beach games of football whereupon i will rein act his greatest movements from the last few years.

Taarabt for me was the best player to wear the QPR shirt and i am counting the days for him to return home and he plays again in a hoops shirt. I sincerely hope we go up any which way but I have to have hope that Taaarbt and QPR will be reunited again ... Redknapp can come and go IMO but Taarabt for me in nowthe benchmark for any QPR player.

He was simply amazing for us and he must return

Not unless he came back with a rather different attitude.

Two of my lads saw Taarabt many times and have changed their own games based on him .. Proud of that by taking them and I know they haven't seen a better player in the shirt yet ... that to me shows exactly how good he is. I saw all the greats and I am certain that he won't be topped

DT..I saw many players but tried to base my own game around Paul Parkers & Des Walkers styles

Pretty sure that doesnt make them legends..although Parker has enough medals that he could argue a good case.!!

Des didnt do too bad either...!

we have a great list of legends Queens ... we should be proud of QPR players I love each of them ... but i have never seen what Taarabt does on any player apart from watching Zidane. I hope one day he gets his recognition and also sorts out his flawed mind ... he is off with the fairies but what he does with a football there is no better in my book

Defecating on the beach is a little unsavoury, Dave.

I started off by trying to play like Stan, as a youth, but with maturity came realisation that Mark Dennis was my true role model.

I suppose because of the lack of my own sporting "talent", I tend to save my admiration for those players that achieve the highest level, through sheer graft and hard work.

Too often highly talented player can waste they abilities, because of lack of application (I guess life has been too easy for them).

Taarabt falls into that category for me, he all too often would position himself that required taking on 2/3 defenders (rather than making an intelligent run and creating space). In the championship, he would succeed regularly, in the EPL, different story, and got found wanting.

Perhaps Warnock and Hughes didnt have the man-management skills too bring the best out in him ??? By the time Harry came in, it was fire fighting time, and there wasnt time to finesse your skillful players.
