Well if it is say the full 6 weeks that means Chezza will miss juist 4 games as the next international break takes care of 2 weeks between the 6th - 19th october.

Hopefully Chester will be ready again for our away game @ Everton on saturday 19th october.

With Faye now ready to return and West Ham not having the best of attacks it is not all bad. Added bonus is that Aston Villa have lost Benteke for 2-3 weeks also.

McShane is due to be ready for the weekend but the Udders game looks nailed on for Dudgeonj(if fit) Faye Bruce for sure and maybe give young Topliss or Clark a go.

Dont worry about Faye for saturday. Faye alongside Davies is more than good enough against the Hammers. We have enough pace elsewhere.

3 games (1 x coc & 2 PL) and Chester could well be ready for the Everton game. Fingers crossed eh ?

Utter nonsense.^^^^ this. A loss yes - but were are well covered in the defence like.

We should have loaned him out until January and see how things are imo. Hobbs does need to play games though.

So far Hobbs is nothing special for Forest and they are leaking goals each game.

Very true on not keeping unhappy players around the place. But we should have put a recall clause in the deal in case of desperation. Looking at what Hobbs is doing so far with Forest and reading Forest match reports he is not a standout player by all accounts as Forest are conceeding alot of goals at the moment,.Forest have only kept 3 clean sheets all season and have conceeded 9 goals in the last 5 games.

AGREED John. Faye will slot seamlessly back into the defence alongside Davies on saturday. In saying that i expect Faye and Bruce to be the centre back pairing on tuesday night.

Oh dear how sad ^^^^ this but typical of Erik.

After the West Ham game the loss of James Chester may not be as bad as many on here feared it would be.

Faye was outstanding yesterday alongside Davies. In sayin g that Aston Villa have a better attack than the Hammers.

imo, the big test without Chester will come in the games @ Tottenham.

the international break may help cos if this were the championship Faye couldn't play twice a week..

the nepotism argument has been canned - Bruce Jnr hasn't had a game yet

I was just going to post this. Once and for all there never was any nepotism. When he was picked and played last season it was for the right reasons. If he plays this season it will be too.

Hernia ops as i said in an earlier post on here need not necessarily be a big deal Patty. Depends on where the hernia is. I was up and about and drove a few hundred miles the next day after mine. 3-4 weeks should be enough to let the stitches heel for a stomach hernia IMO. If he has the op this week he should only miss the Villa game given the international break.

Said this in a previous post but if its a inguinal hernia (groin) which is the most common then it will probably be done laparoscopically; recovery from this type of surgery is rapid, when its done properly and especially if the patient is young, which Brady is. I have had two done laparoscopically and one done with open surgery. With an open its 6-8 weeks with a chance of a relapse if activity causes more than 70mm hg (not sure of the units here) of pressure- a cough can do that or lifting more than 20 lbs for example. As I said done laparoscopically recovery is rapid and I know a guy who is over 50 who was kiteboarding 3 days after the op, took me a little while longer to get back to this myself but then I am an old guy.

Read in one of the papers that Bruce said it was a stomach problem which one can infer means not in the groin? If so disregard the above, out of my pay bracket no experience here.
