Looks like we're left with Mourinho and Ollie for entertainment value amongst Prem managers then.

Not suprising and I've never been a fan. Even as a player.

Not quite sure why he was so highly rated TBH?

It was a mental decision hiring him in the first place.

We should have taken a similar approach with Mark Hughes last season, rather than waiting until the end of November.

There were quite a few on here who wanted him as a replacement for Hughes. Dodged a bullet if you ask me.

We looked at Barton and thought he's an absolute nutcase.
However, when you consider Di Canio, he makes Joey seem perfectly normal.
Di Canio is without question a stark raving lunatic .................. and that's putting it mildly.

Just hope Mclaren has no interest and stays with us.

The speed which most clubs change managers is a disgrace, but there are exceptions.

Cant believe Di Canio was ever given a EPL job, without more success at Championship level. No doubt he did well at Swindon, but even then the wheels could come off very easily.

McLaren's name has been mentioned (SSN) in connection with this, along with Di Matteo (I doubt it, he's a lazy bastard and has just moved back to the Midlands) and Poyet. And Pulis, who would be the safest bet for survival, but very unpopular with the Mackems.

In Football management this man is a complete inutile idiota and has no real understanding of football ... I would of loved a Sunderland fan to run out and kick the man in the knackers ... He just doesn't get it at times but i agree the game needs him just for the entertainment. The Sunderland team look the worse i have seen in recent history and that includes us last year.

I looked at the Prem table yesterday, and again its full of crap. Beyond usual suspects Swans again playing the beautiful game and Southampton looking useful, the rest are all in the mire.

After the weekends game in the PL, it looks like it may be a season where more than the usual teams are in with a chance to win it............................. or have I've got it all wrong and should I retire behind my rock, way down under. ..................... in land of the uncouth.

I would not bet against the top four coming from Arsenal, Utd, City, Chelsea or Spurs. Liverpool possibly. Usual suspects. But Arsenal the only one with long term managerial stability, I fancy them.

Agreed mate ..................... I just hope it is not a two horse race and that 4 or 5 are in it to the end ...................... should make it interesting.
Only in the Championship do we want a clear cut winner, as per QPR.

With any luck, they will take over our rep as the joke team of the EPL. Was predicting as much when the season started

Fans will want Roy Keane back. He's surely gonna get fed up of answering bloody Adrian Chiles' stupid questions soon enough...
