He can pay homage to the mighty god of thunder when we beat Hull................probably by one goal.

It's a Category C game, so they'll be cheap. By cheap I mean expensive, but not as expensive as most other games. Probably about £40, at a guess.

IMHO today proved that Naughton cannot be used at LB for PL or cup games against serious opposition.
The Rose injury will now ask questions of AVBs' dogma.
Will he now attempt to progress Fryers quickly, recall BAE in January etc if his performances are up to par.

Push Jan to left back and throw in Kaboul / 'Kirrykesh' depending who's fit/eligible.

Anyone know how long Rose is out for? It didn't look too serious.

We won 1-0 with a peach of a Geovanni free-kick. Bo Myhill's wonder game was the year after when we drew 0-0. Poor 'Arry didn't know whether to laugh or cry after that.

    <laugh> OK, cheers...

    Not the point.
The mere hint of serious injury means we are a breath from repeating last season for LB.

I reckon AVB will be looking at buying, not a loan.
Which will depend how well Madrid are going, and how big a bunch of c***s they
are prepared to be on the fee etc.

Vertonghen's face is priceless - "I'm being sandwiched between a black man and a German in front of 25,000 people. The hell has happened to my life?"

Why are they all gang-banging the mike?

You can tell by the look on Vertonghen's face that he's knows it's wrong.

I think he might have realised that if one more person jumps on top then that mike stand will probably spear lewis holtby.

On a brighter note, good for Kane to have been on at the end there.

Paulinho needed that finish as he didn't have a great game from what I could see, but fair play to him for knocking it in, and a really good win.

  15. Not strange at all, TMT. That's what mine looks like if I put a sock over it.

Fair away win but thanks. Good would have been if we'd have converted more of our chances. You're top on goal diff, well done.

Anyone else get the feeling we only scored the one because we knew we'd barely get two minutes on MOTD2 tonight due to the Manc derby?

Ah that was the one. It was the 0-0 I was remembering, I think I'd mixed it up with the memory of when Wolves beat us 1-0 at WHL and their 'keeper(might've been Hahnemen) had a blinder too. Same colour kits :D

Geovanni looked quality for about 3 months that season and then just stopped.
