30 seconds is about right. Short enough that it *usually* won't be a problem, long enough to make truly board-breaking volumes of spam impossible.
Afternoon Leo, Quite surpised I thought you would get around the 4.5 million mark, from what I have seen of him he is a quality player
I'd say it's about right as the BBC 3-minute rule was annoying, and this is the first time I have seen it.... Not sure I will see it too often!
Swansea fan just requesting information on Danny Graham on his development since he moved from Carlisle! I personally don't agree with the offer we have given you; I think £3.5m for a player who has never played in the PL is a massive risk. Do you think he will actually cope in the PL? Would Swansea be a different animal with him in the side? If you are looking for a striker we have Craig Beattie
3.5m is a steal trust me! He will do well in the prem ,I have no doubt about that! Hello Tricky made it over I see and with a modship too!!! Be a few sheep that might laugh about that
STRIKER Danny Graham has joined Swansea City from the Hornets for a fee of £3.5million. The deal to take the 25-year-old forward from Hertfordshire to south Wales also includes a 15 per cent sell-on clause, payable against any future sale value less this transfer fee. The above from our web site.
think we hit 3 or 4 threads at the same time ! bugger todgers has got him! Come on Agent Graham ,your mission is to undermine Rodgers and bring the swans down! your secondary aim is to be loaned back to us!
As suggested the money was upfront plus a 15% sell on clause ,could have been better could have been worse! I am assuming the reason the bid was accepted was the money upfront plus the financial pressure! Hopefully that has now eased a bit!
I think its fair to say that those doing the negotiating thought this the best deal we'd get whether right or wrong who knows but I hope the 3.6 million net income this week means the rest of the window is a little more relaxed with our targets coming in early as we know our training regime is tougher than wherever anyone comes from. Malky commented last year how he didn't enjoy having to throw the squad together last minute so i would hope some of this is at his bequest ie get the moves out early and let the coaches get on with the job in hand.
Well the club has been very transparent with both deals this week. Spelling out exactly the terms. I can't remember any previous Board being that comunicative but my memory could be mistaken. With regard to DG it seems the best price we could get as nobody bothered to even match it. Neadless to say we all valued him much higher. I wish him good luck and in particular a fantastic season that gets one of the top 4 this time next year offer in excess of 20m so that we can get our 15% quickly!
I hope so Aberdeen Hoping this is it on the out front ,although somehow I doubt it ,From a pr point of view I hope the club bring in someone before the next one leaves! Otherwise the negative vibes are only going to get stronger!
Norway,it's summer!!!! You're only supposed to be depressed in the winter over there, find it strange the club need to publish a denial of any approach for Malky, not sure how to read that I'm guessing it is an attempt to draw a line in the sand but like you say we do need an inbound signing now to get a bit of a warm feeling running.
