    Injured apparently.

Let's hope he's out for Wednesday, they lose their best player and we get ours back <ok>

We still have Sturridge, 4/5 so far so he's arguably our 2nd beat player, more so than Coutinho atm surely?

  11. Scoring goals is a great attribute but as far as the team goes, Coutinho is better and more important IMO. Lucas is more important than Studge too; there is no one else that can play the DM role, Suarez and Aspas (in a positional sense) can play up top.

    Best:

    1) Suarez
    2) Coutinho
    3) Studge
    4) Gerrard

    Important:

    1) Lucas
    2) Coutinho
    3) Migs
    4) Henderson (need his work ethic)

I know what you're saying but I'm talking about best players atm, Suarez Coutinho and Sturridge are our best players atm. Whether you see goals which Sturridge offers or creativity which Coutinho offers more important to the team will just differ between opinions.

Not quite sure why important players were suggested and if you want to talk about important players then I' agree with what you've said but I said best players not important, and for me Sturridge has been more important to the team than Coutinho this season so far just because without his goals would be even be near the top of the table? Who knows, it's all a matter of opinion.

Either way United will be weakened come Wednesday and we'll be strengthened, bodes well for us.

  13. I mentioned importance because I think Coutinho is more important to the team than Studge. Luis can score the goals if Studge is missing, I'm not convinced he could replace Ford in the same way.

I understand your point about Studge's goal but to me, that just means Studge was more important in the first six games. Now Suarez is back, Coutinho is more important IMO.

However, you are right, its a matter of preference.

I think Suarez could replace both of Sturridge and Coutinho (not that I want him too, I would rather all three). Suarez creates loads of chances and can score a load as well (last season was evidence for this).

I feel that so far this season that Sturridge has been more important due to his goals, has Coutinho even made an assist yet? (Btw I'm not bashing Coutinho, I think the lads great) it sounds like we missed Coutinho a lot yesterday, it sounds like we missed his creativity (wouldn't know because I was at work and didn't get to watch MOTD) but hopefully it'll change now Suarez is back.

  15. I don't think Suarez can replace Coutinho, not like-for-like anyway. He is far too greedy, Ford looks for assists whereas Suarez looks for goals. However, Luis can bring something different to the side. Obviously, I'd prefer all three too <laugh>

I disagree. I think Suarez & Sturridge are our two most important and best players. Coutinho's very good but he doesn't do it in every game, Sturridge & Suarez do perform in most games.

  19. Lucas is the most important closely followed by Migs, purely because they have no back-up / competition.

Not like for like but we do have Henderson or Allen. I'd rather go a season with Allen or Henderson in central midfield partnerning Gerrard than with Aspas upfront instead of Suarez/Sturridge.
