He was great in Holland, great at Bolton and injury plagued at Wigan. He has fantastic pace, quick feet and is very direct. At Bolton he created more goal scoring chances from open play than any of there other players while he was there.

He has the potential to become very good. Just like theo did and is showing us.

 

3 goals, 3 set pieces. It's clear what Stoke need work on.

We're top
We defended better
Sagna is still a beast
Ramsey and Ozil seem to have developed an understanding already
We're now a threat from set-pieces (until Theo returns and takes them)

Cons:

Giroud wasn't in the match again
Didn't keep a clean sheet (nothing Chez could have done though)
Jack still goes over too often
We didn't play very well

 

Yea I don't rate him either. Could be proved wrong of course, but Gnabry looks more likely to make it.

I live near Brighton so went to the Brighton Bolton match yesterday (and the pub for a bit either side of the game) and I've watched the Arsenal game today. I don't think the wife would let me watch the Manc derby as well.

I hope the spuds hae a similar day to Bolton yesterday, a long journey and nothing to show for it.
