According to my maths I think we'll go a bit further than Ted thinks, lap 59, maybe maybe just lap 60.
It's a possibility, but if Ted is right and the race will end on lap 57, Alonso might not have to pit again. Can it be done?
It's worse if anything. Vettel is 2 seconds a lap faster whenever he want's to be. The Red Bull is ridiculous, regardless of how much rate Vettel.
Kimi and Button are going to the end so presumably Alonso will too. Webber, Rosberg and the others will have to pass others before attacking Alonso. Genius from Ferrari!
I reckon it was a better idea to change to the super-softs rather than go to the end on mediums, 15 laps and the super-softs are 1.5 seconds a lap faster, do the math.
Alonso 18 seconds ahead of Webber with 9 laps to go. I hope Alonso can hold on, I still have nightmares of Canada 2012.
