Bear in mind that Manchester City had never won at the Britannia stadium so your result against them was not unexpected. Not that I'm trying to temper your optimism or anything.
I really don't rate Hughes as a manager but this will be a difficult game. A narrow win for us but we'll be made to work hard for it.
Have some faith guys, we will win BIG! As for Man City, they are disjointed at the moment. They have a lot of new players and a new manager that trying to get them to play his way and gel. Good result but Arsenal will be a totally different beast. If Stoke does not mark Ozil properly, then Walcott and Giroud willl run riot. Even though we are missing some key players, we have others like Ramsey playing very well and will probably star in todays game taking advantage of the absentee of Cazorla.
I'm not exactly confident about this game, I rate we'll win it in all honesty, just not by much. A 2-1 or 1-0 victory I rate.
If Ramsey performs as well as he has done this season he'll go a long way to laying the Stoke injury ghost to rest.
Arteta, Bendtner and Viviano on the bench today. Good to see Arteta back in the mix. Good to see Viviano is able to displace Flappy hands. And good to see Bendtner rather than Akpom (lol who thought as Arsenal fans we would be glad to have Bendtner around!).
A stoke fan confident of comming to the Emirates and at the very least getting a draw, maybe even a win. Doesn't that suggest your confident your a better team than us if it's going to be that clear cut? lol I'll enjoy getting a result against Stoke, always do
I hope the home fans really make some noise for him today, he says he is looking forward to the atmosphere after being impressed by the incredible stadium, so i want the fans to make sure he feels welcome!
I think it makes a big difference having options on the bench now. We have plenty of options to re-shuffle the backline and GK if needed. With Arteta back in the mix we have options to move around the midfield without relying on youth. And even having Bendtner means we have an option for up-front if Giroud gets any injury etc.
Yeah i just heard them saying that. Not sure what thats about considering when they put up the team sheets Walcott was in the team...
Btw Kyle after your whinging about how Viviano doesn't make the bench ahead of Flappy you must be very happy to see him in the team
That's a shame that Walcott is out. I hope this is the end of our players getting ill! Gnabry is not anywhere near WaLCOTTS LEVEL YET SO IT'S A BIG BLOW, BUT HOPEFULLY WITH THE REST OF THE TEAM looking solid we should be fine. (woops caps).
