There's definitely a story behind it but the Estate Agents won't ever reveal anything like that incase it puts you off.

It's a cracking location and I've got great memories of my time working in Lenzie as a BT Engineer.

In the summer 10 of us would drive from Easterhoose where I lived back then to play on that wee fitba pitch right next to the petrol station on Boghead Road.

After that it was intae Lenzie Pool and we'd all be running and jumping aff the tap dale. <laugh>

Lenzie had some amazin Shereen Nanjiani.

    Good times <cheers>

    The broomy? Never knew that.

Aye, it must be nearly 25 years ago but I drive past it from time to time and enjoy a wee chortle to myself.

The doctor that delivered Mrs Rocket in her back bedroom in Easterhoose stayed in Boghead road just across from the Rugby fields at the top of the road... Hugo MacKenzie

Al never forgive that **** <grr>

Those dales were brilliant and one of the reasons we all went was because you were actually allowed to run and jump whereas in Glasgow pools you had to dive which wasn't as much fun.

Use to go into Caspers in Cowgate for my lunch quite a lot - they did a mean Scampi and chips. There was a pub round the corner from Caspers which was really good on a Saturday night - teemin wae fanny, canny remember what it was called. <doh>
