Firstly I want to congratulate the creators of this site and also the members who provide the good topics of discussion. I saw on JA that people were saying bad things about here but to to me you have all been very welcoming to newbies and the posts on here are of very good standard. I recognize some of your names from 606 and I remember you being decent there as well. I'm going to use both this and JA I think to be honest as I cant decide! Page Moss, the other day mate you said rumour has it JA was hacked and you said to change email passwords. For future ref I just wondered why? (I changed it anyhow) How can someone find out my email password from just having my email address? They would obviously gain access to my JA password but not my email one could they?
Welcome to the site mate I think the problem is that some people use the same password for various things, therefore if they get your JA password in some cases they will have your email password too. I personally have different passwords for different things and would always advise others to do the same. Once again, WELCOME
People seem to be of the opinion that Not606 is full of kids and wums when actually the debate here is better than 606. My reckoning is that people go straight to general chat then leave. No idea why Liverpool fans wouldn't bother to check their own board first, if they did they would see it's a great community we've got going here!
JA 606, doesnt exsist it brings up some nonsense site when i try to access it,this is much better. ps how do i get myself one of those fancy pictures for me profile
Unfortunately it does, with ignorant articles like this. Apparently we're all a bunch of kids. http://ja606.com/comments/viewAllComments/2621 Quite annoying tbh. I'd understand if they preferred the layout of JA606 or something (due to not being able to accept change), but in terms of shear numbers and being able to debate freely (ja mods are terrible) then not606 is by far the best.
Nice one fellas, thanks for your replies Yeah, I disagree with alot of what has been posted over on JA. The first thing I did was look at our board on here and there are some really good posts with posters who know what they're on about, as I say I recognise some of you from 606. So to say its a site for losers is so wide of the mark that even Torres doesn't shoot that wide! I do like looking at other teams boards to see how they feel about things, i.e How Arsenal stars are wanting out! And I do enjoy chatting and debating with other fans, epecially before/after games and this site has good number of memebers As I say, I am going to use both I think, this place has some things that JA doesn't and I would like to stay in touch with some of the old 606's who reside here You all seem like a decent bunch to me and I dont really get the JA LFC posters who say here is full of swearing etc ????? P.s, who will take J Cole of our hgands? !!!!!!!
Hi mate. Go to 'Forum actions' at the top/centre of the page, then edit profile. Then on your left side, 'edit avatar'. You can either save a pic and upload, or copy a link.
When I first looked on here there was a WUM infestation on our board but I hung around and it got dealt with pretty quickly. Perhaps other visitors had a similar experience but didn't stick around to see the outcome. All in all I think the mods do a good job on our board getting rid of obvious WUMs and also closing threads that start off OK but descend into a slanging match. I like banter if it's witty and good humoured, but the childish, abusive stuff just bores me. I haven't been on the general board or other team boards so I don't know if they are as efficient on there. I intend to keep up with a couple of other sites to see what some old 606ers are up to, but I think this one is really well run at the moment.
I remember joining here and this first thread was from successful kop basher or something and it was this tirade of profanity against Liverpool. Glad I stuck around! Top avatar has to be me with the god fowler and macca in all their spice boy glory!!! haha.
Hello DR The reason i advised people to change their e-mail password is because a lot of pc users keep the same password for multiple sites and also their e-mail address and financial dealings(foolish but true). if the hackers got the subscription details of ja606 members they alredy have the mail addresses and need only match the passwords of those who have been foolish.
Look at this guys user name and what he's posting. http://www.ja606.co.uk/articles/viewArticle/2602/ This sort of thing needs to be stamped on
