I agree with a lot of what you say Kyle but this argument is ridiculous in its entirety.

I think Kyle (hans) is a credit to this board - he offers a unbiased view to the club he supports.

That is a rare trait to have, as I admittedly at times am biased towards the club I support, as are 99% of fans.

He makes some good points that are glaringly obvious to see, but like I said most fans ignore due to bias (including me).

No disrespect to anybody who genuinely thinks that we could do better without Wenger and want him gone but you have to laugh at the four yes voters so far on this thread

    - A mopey Goth who was 'forced' into supporting Arsenal by his abusive grandparents
    - A Liverpool WUM
    - Edmund the Bin man
    - A lost Spud

This poll just looks like another "I told you so" moment to antagonize people you disagree with. Though, like everyone in the "Wenger Out Brigade" has already said, signing Ozil doesn't change much at this stage. So I'm not surprised that no-one has voted "no" in the poll. Like the Ramsey talk before, it's just an attempt to annoy a few people.

What makes me laugh is that by answering the question in the poll, you're implying that you were in the "Wenger Out brigade" ;)

I refuse to vote because the poll imo is a bit mischievous and designed to portray the Wenger Out Brigade in a bad light. I was always indifferent about whether he went or not, leaned towards him going. Call me centre of left. As a few people already alluded to, it is far too early to judge, furthermore only time will tell whether the decision not to address the key areas on the pitch that needed strengthening was a wise one.

Are we title contenders on the back of signing Ozil?

No idea how this thread has been allowed to continue as it's a clear windup to those who wanted Wenger to go. Post this thread back up at the end of the season where this deserves to be.

I've never wanted him sacked at any point but even with signing Ozil i still think he/they made a mess of the transfer window. I'll wait and see what happens in January and next summer

I've never wanted him sacked, though I doubt the club would do it barring something crazy happening anyway. This thread may be a bit premature, but it's at least worth pointing out that the team seem in pretty decent nick at the moment (what with achieving the club record of away wins on the trot) and that Wenger deserves praise for this. So far the team has played seven and won six in all competitions; this is the best form out of the league teams.

Wenger saved his bacon a little with Ozil; he's a signing which did much to boost confidence of the fans and has drawn a lot of praise for Wenger from the media, and both of these groups really need on the side of the squad if they are to push on this season. I still think that the summer transfer window could have been better but, like Krome, I'm content to see what January brings.

Exactly, I said before that Wenger should leave a strong squad to his replacement if our transition is to happen smoothly, and at this point he wouldn't be doing that.

The transfer window was still a mess, and no matter how you spin it we were very fortunate that Ozil got disillusioned with his club days after he vowed to stay there. Even in our one big success in the transfer window external factors were a much higher factor than our "competence" as a club.

So by answering 'Never wanted him sacked in the first place' it implies that I was in the 'Wenger out Brigade' .... ?

    Classic Spud logic <laugh>

It's not designed as a wind up or to try and portray anybody in a bad light, maybe it is a bit early in the season, but I am genuinely interested to know if those who wanted Wenger out are reconsidering their views ?

When we had not bought anyone by a week before the transfer window closed I thought enough is enough and its time for change. Ozil is a great signing but one player is not enough to change my mind after 8 years of stagnation.

Read what the question is, read what I said, rinse and repeat until you get it. It was a harmless joke, nothing else <ok>

What this thread proves is that the WOB's have far more class than the WKB's. Aside from me who can't keep my mouth shut, other WOB's haven't risen to the classless bait posted by the OP, who is proving why he's a distasteful WUM.

I seem to remember various WOBs calling out specific posters to wind them up after losses last season, calling people ******ed and such for for stating that we should believe in the team, etc...
But keep trying to divide the fanbase. Its ok. You already think foreigners, despite the fact that you're Welsh, are plastics <ok>

It's a fairly straight forward question. I can't help that Kyle is a mopey goth with anger issues <ok>
