You're right Beth, it's not. I may have gone a bit overboard in trying to make it obscure. It's music related.
Wasn't it one of those 60's festival movies; Celebration at Big Sur or maybe Woodstock? Did Neil Young say this or something, vaguely remember something like that when I saw it many moons ago.
Nines mate, Michelangelo's David is 17ft tall.........which makes his lips about 16ft off the ground (excluding plinth). I have no idea on this one, even google comes up with some waxwork of an Indian actor. Is there some statue of Elvis in Vegas or Graceland?
It's a bit obscure, not sure anyone will guess it. It's actually the one and only Guidarello Guidarelli (who?), a fearless 16th century Italian soldier in Ravenna. During the 1800's a rumour started that any woman who kissed the reclining armour-clad statue would marry a wonderful gentleman. More than 5 million superstitious women have since kissed Guidarelli's cold marble lips. Over to whoever has a question ready.
Yeah I knew that mate, in fact I'd be surprised if everyone didn't. I even saw it myself in Florence a couple of years ago. I was referring to the David Cassidy statue which is probably in America somewhere.
Whose recent autobiography begins with a description of a childhood nosebleed? Nose bleeds were a pretty common feature of my childhood, caused variously by physical exercise, spicy food, bright sunlight, embarrassment, dairy, shouting (hearing or doing) and fiddling with my nose.
