Paul Merson - I've seen Aspas a million times and still trying to work out what he does....

Really Paul? You've seen him a million times, despite the fact that before he came to Liverpool you'd probably never heard of him, and he's played 4 games for us? <doh>

Well played Southampton. Schooled us last season and fully deserved the win today, they really do look to be going places now, and I fully expect them to push on from today and go from strength to strength. We didn't turn up, but their tactics were spot on today (though our weaknesses and painfully obvious) and if it weren't for Mignolet they could of had one or two more. <applause>

    I missed the game.

    Why did we loose?

Was it because we had no Coutinho?

    How were Sakho and Moses?

No creativity and our game doesn't really function without comfortable full backs.

Sahko did well when moved in to the centre. Moses was probably our best player, always willing to run with the ball and received it well in tight areas.

Think that's an over-statement. They implemented their game plan very well and are a good workman-like side. As for going places we'll have to wait and see.

I agree that we didn't turn up but that was made more difficult because of the team selection. However, when you let a side put on a 4 man press continually and you don't exploit the space then you don't deserve anything from the game. Ok so we didn't have Suarez or Coutinho but we should still have had players to seek and pass into space!!

The lack of penalty for Sturridge just highlights how amazingly bent the one Man Utd got against Palace was

Wasn't able to watch because of youngests birthday party. Seems like I am the missing ingredient... when I watch live we win. When I don't we draw.
