Come on then, 5 games in, 3 defeats, 1 win, 1 draw. Who is worried about our PL status today, now we have slipped in to the bottom 3? I will do another after the Cardiff game.
No more worried than at the start of the season. Anybody who thought we were going to saunter through 'til May to our usual mid-table finish was always deluding themselves. We will finish mid-table as in the previous two years, but it will be a scrap right to the end.
Noted - I did think we would get a point at Hull and a win today, which of course would have given a far more comfy feeling. I think we all know the PL is hard and unforgiving, but just how hard and unforgiving i think we are going to find out this time round.
The Budgies just don't understand his vision for the future! (Tho' I'm beginning to think that Carrabuh does...)
must admit i AM worried, because we seem to have gone backwards. not what i was expecting after the summer signings. we were better in the second half and had some bad luck, but you cant miss peneltys and open goals( rvw) at this level. the defending was woeful today and we just kept floating balls over to the keeper. i still think we will be ok,but we badly need a good performence as we already seem to be playing with no confidence
I wouldn't say we have gone backwards yet, but neither can I say we are progressing either. With the money spent on players at least with some pedigree it is not unreasonable to expect at least some signs that progress is being made, but it does not appear to be the case. I do not think we are any different in ability to last season, perhaps because we have not been shown anything to suggest otherwise, and that may change in the next 1-2 months, but it's hard to see as of today.
Don't show little chrissy that picture, he will be trying to park that lorry aswell as a bus in your next game.
Do I really need to answer this question? Sorry to bring it up again but it's now 5 Wins in 26 PL games Hughton is a nice guy but nice guys win **** all, I genuinely felt sorry for him after the game he looked a broken man. The crowd were singing "You don't know what you're doing" the natives are getting restless. Stoke away next then Arsenal at the Emirates, by then we'll be rooted to the foot of the Division. I seem to be the only one that can see change is needed before it's too late. Remember when we failed to sack Worthington when we should have? Well here we go again ! ...............................................................gets flak jacket !!!!!!!!!!!!!
