    Dublin V Mayo

    Should be a great game.

I can't get a ticket for love nor money. Thanks to a couple of lads on here who did their best for me. They know I appreciate it.

Jeez me nerves are shot. Mayo haven't won an All-Ireland for 62 years. We are hoping for our 24th title and second in 3 years.

It is 31 counties V 1. We are the Millwall of gaelic football, nobody likes us, we don't care.

    Come on THE DUBS.

Will be shouting on Mayo also. Of course the other 31 counties will be shouting on Mayo.......Mayo have a lot less All-Irelands......not to mention Dublins population and they are playing at home. Oh wait the dubs always play at home lol.

Yes, Mayo have a lot less All-Ireland's and I would expect most of the neutrals to cheer them on for that reason. There is also a huge anti-Dublin brigade in certain parts of the country. Some of that sentiment is there for historical reasons and some of it is pure jealousy.

It's not our fault the GAA can't afford to allow us to play outside Croke Park. I like all the rest of the Dublin fans are used and abused by the GAA to boost their finances. Not only are all our games played in Croke Park but they will put on all sorts of league matches in the Winter months in attempt to boost their coffers. The next time they spend huge sums on a dilapidated ground down the country, just remember where the money came from.

Our population is not relevant. Unlike the rest of the counties, soccer is by far the number one sport in Dublin. Gaelic games are a minority sport. We are probably the only county in the whole country where that is the case.

I agree with some of your statements but not all Finglas. The one that strikes out the most is minority sport. We have the same issues down here in rural Ireland. Add that to massive immigration and local teams are ravaged.
All that aside, enjoy the day....chances are ye will come out on top, it is Mayo after all (Always a bridesmaid).

I won a ticket with the club and got my 14 year old son to go with his elderly grandad ... as a Wicklow man I am rooting for the Dubs......Brogan is gaa version of Thierry Henry. Would be good for Mayo to win.

Good to see a bit of support for the Dubs.

The heat will be a factor. Absolutely roasting in Croke Park.

    The fitter team will win.

    Thanks Ciarrai.

The best team in the country all year won.

The last time we won, QPR won the league. Hopefully more of the same.
