Two of my favorites is "Hard day's night" by the beatles.......seemed to always be on the Radio when doing guard duty in the middle of the night.......or Penny lane.....or eleanor Rigby. In fact practically anything by the Beatles........ok I know........I'll get me coat...........
Wow, you are so old! I was early teens for those songs. I was definately a Beatles fan, rather than The Stones.
Music in clubs, would usually be pretty poor, but then it is generally exactly the type of music you want for that situation. Mind you, I'm usually too off my tits to notice either way.
Also used to like the beach boys, or the Everly brothers, the Ink spots, Dooby brothers, Doris day or Shirley Bassy, Teresa Brewer. Go on tell me you haven't heard of half those. Never was a fan of Mick big mouth Jagger!! I must be younger than you then as I wasn't in my early teens then either......

good shout jdub with foals - just brought Total Life Forever £3 in HMV, £3???? WHAT A BARGIN - You cant go wrong for that amount........................well you can, jedward, westlife, the saturdays, Glee, chris rea etc
Personally I find Foals one of the most overrated bands out there. Still, they've got a pretty big following, so there must be something about them.
That's a snip for such a good album. Spanish Sahara and Black Gold are my favourites at the moment from that album.
