Just in the Copse End at the ground. All a bit baffled by the team. Would have expected us to ensure no goals in and keep our defensive line up (ie Barton / Henry), especially with the slight disruption of Onouha. Would hope Carroll a bit further up to help create chances (and opportunity for Kranjcar to come on at some time). We need these 3 pts!! Could be chance to open up a gap (which we wasted on Wednesday)
Wait til you see. The very same crowd that have been bitching about our negative line-ups will now be complaining that its too offensive looking! Fair play for going down there today SW. Keep us updated pal.
I'd have said that Jenas was worse than Faurlin against Swindon, Faurlin did at least put in a couple of cracking passes down the wing to release Suk-Young. But yes we all have our favourites, and he is one of mine but more importantly not one of Redknapps. Anyway kickoff.....
You know what, you could be totally right on this one. I don't know enough about Jenas to be signing his praises. I just get wary of the QPR-fan mindset rearing its ugly head regarding "old favourites".
Perhaps Barton + Henry will come on as or dynamic duo to help shore things up, when we are hopefully 3-0 up? Sounds like Rob Green just kept Yeovil from scoring, so we have to be careful, and take advantage of our scoring opportunities (heard a couple so far). Just heard that Loic Remy just opened his account at Newcastle.
1515: Newcastle 1-0 Hull There was a great shot of Joe Kinnear, Newcastle's director of football, flicking smugly through the programme after his one summer arrival found the net. We'll see what the verdict is on his business after a few more weeks. please log in to view this image 1510: GOAL - Newcastle 1-0 Hull - Loic Remy Possibly the ugliest assist ever, but Loic Remy's header was clean enough. Papiss Cisse shanks a volley off his shin straight into the turf from Moussa Sissoko's deep cross, but the ball loops up invitingly for his French strike partner to nod in.
