I would be filthy with a draw of any kind. With all due respect to the opposition, we are overdue of giving someone a thrashing ......................... today seems like an appropriate day and venue. 0-4 will do nicely.
JOEY: CORRECT MINDSET IS KEY PUBLISHED 07:00 21st September 2013 by @OfficialQPR please log in to view this image ‘We’ll take one game at a time,’ insists Barton IN-FORM R’s midfielder Joey Barton insists QPR can ill-afford to take today’s opponents Yeovil Town lightly, as the R’s go in search of a third away win of the season at Huish Park this afternoon. Rangers moved to the top of the Sky Bet Championship in midweek following a 0-0 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion, whilst the Glovers’ 2-1 defeat to Ipswich Town saw them drop into the bottom three. Yet despite the 13 point gap between the two sides before kick-off, Barton – speaking exclusively to London Call-In on Thursday night – said: "Every game is equally as difficult in this division as we found out on Wednesday night. Brighton were well organised and came to do a job. "We're the club to be shot at. We've got a big target on our backs and that's going to be the case for the next 39 games. "Whatever the reason, we are the big fish. "We're everyone's tip for promotion and we're everyone's Cup Final as a result. "No doubt, Yeovil will be buzzing this weekend to take us on.” He added: "We have to be mindful that we're in the right frame of mind when we go there and that we do what we need to do and prepare ourselves correctly. "In the first seven games we've done that. We've not taken any game for granted, we've been together as a team, as a unit, and that's shown with the points haul we've got to date. "We're unbeaten, we're playing well and we've made a great start, but again I'll reiterate it, it's only a start. "We've got 39 games to go and we'll need to take each game at a time and the next game is Yeovil and it's important we get the right result there.” Read more at http://www.qpr.co.uk/news/article/2...dset-is-key-1064529.aspx?#rsRReGm0G25cjc2X.99
QPR FC ‏@OfficialQPR #QPR XI v @ytfcofficial: Green, Simpson, Traore, Dunne, Hill, Phillips, Austin, Carroll, Jenas, O’Neil, Assou-Ekotto #YEOvQPR
----------------Austin---------------- Traore----------O'Neil----------Phillips ---------Carroll-------Jenas---------- BAE-------Hill-------Dunne----Simpson ---------------Green------------------
Traore (great crosser) on the left and Phillips finally played on the right should provide plenty of ammo for Austin. Not sure there is enough grit in the centre of midfield for us with Carroll and Jenas.
Perhaps given the reputation of this ref, 'Arry wanted to limit Barton's playing time to prevent potential yellow and/or red cards? Ref Watch: Gavin Ward is the match official for tomorrow`s game against the Glovers. Last season, Ward issued an astonishing 131 yellow cards and 11 red cards in 37 games.
