The club seem to have taken the initative since the close of season to try and tie up a lot of their transfer deals as quickly as possible, which I've got to say has impressed me thus far with who we've been linked with.

BUT I'm not convinced until I see the players signing on the dotted line.

Todays news sees NUFC linked to the signing of Neil Taylor at left back which apparently is a good up and coming prospect which people have said is expected to replace Enrique. Why a replacement he may be intended as back up or intended as 2 players for every position.

I know Enrique has stalled on contract talks but his conditions for signing a new contract were:

    A) The club to stay in the premier League

    B) See how the squad is strengthened

I think the club has more than shown great intent in the transfer market and looking to sign a combination of up and coming youth as well as good established players.

Is this enough to convinvve Enrique to sign a new contract?

    Which is why I said
I think I read somehwere that you can transfer from British club to British club now, so we can sign Neil Taylor but none of the foreigners. Not sure if this is true.

Sorry but they can. Domestic transfers can be made as soon as a clubs season is finished. The international transfer window opens Thursday.

I hope we keep continuing the way we have started throughout this window.
We need competition for places badly!

As far as I'm aware the rules and regulations surrounding transfers are that you can sign players when ever you like really. The only reason this doesn't happen much is because teams can't register players until the windown opens.

Theoretically it such be called the player registration window!

I agree totally with everything you say, except Barton losing his place, the player who would drop to the bench is Jonas (our new impact sub if Ranger goes on loan...)

Even as a hat-stand he can't keep possession, he keeps losing them.
