One of the worst away games I've been to was Wigan. Dirty cheating bar stewards. Haidara is lucky he can still walk.

Must say they have good Box Office staff though.

Ha, you're just trying to get on MInxy's good side.

Too late, ACS has beat you to it.

Actually, Peterborough is a decent little team with some good supporters. BF is one of the best.

Spent a lot of time in Kent so have seen the Gills a few times and still keep an eye out. Was even at Wembley for the fantastic play off final win.

Always had a soft spot for The Hammers team of the late 70's, early 80's. Apart from the Liverpool team at this time, they were the only other team to play carpet football. Couldn't believe it when we signed Paul Goddard!
I absolutely detest Stoke for some reason. Don't care much for The Arse either.

Stoke don't play the greatest football and I'm not an admirer of Pullis, but Arsenal do try to play football.

    Surprisingly it's Chelsea for me.

Got quite a few friends in west London and even went to the 1994 FA Cup Final wearing a Chelsea shirt! :bandit:

Other teams I follow. AFC Bournemouth. Actually get most chance to watch them & Shrewsbury Town.

Dont like villa although have been to quite a few games at villa park over the years. Their fans give you an ear ache with all their whining.

Moved around a fair bit over the years so have a soft spot for a few teams. My user name gives a clue to my second team after the Toon, but also keep an eye out for C. Palace - best mate from my years darn sarf is a season ticket holder. On the few occasions they are in the same division we have a weekend of football and a few beers. This goes back, for those of you who are old enough to remember the headline " Queen in brawl at Palace".For those not old enough - well ask your Dad!!!
Final team I look out for is Rangers as my family come from Berwick and first match I went to as a nipper was at Shielfield Park.

Bizarre that you lot are saying this sort of thing, especially those saying Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs etc.

I'd have thought "second teams" were popular with fans of smaller teams, not of those whose side were challenging for the title some years a go.

Well second teams can provide a service your actual team does not... Whether it's that they play nicer football, are a portal to a foreign domestic league, have cheap and local matches, or are likely to win something this millennium...

I think fans of the game can have loyalties wherever without diminishing from their passion for their true club.

If I was looking for a second team I wouldn't go glory hunting, I'd go to watch Gateshead, a local team.

It isn't about winning, it's about passion.

To be honest second teams are meaningless because most don't actually support them.
I never watch leeds games and couldn't tell you their regular line-up, just tend to look to see how they do. Never sat around saying 'now what is my second team and what am i looking for in them'

I think the appeal of having a second team is that they offer the opportunity of risk free enjoyment. If they do well, then that's a minor smile added to your day. If they lose, though, it doesn't hurt.
