    Fryers vs villa for me.

Overall very good tonight, Tromso and Norwich both set up to defend in numbers which was something we struggled with when pace was our main strength, now with Lewis, Christian and Eric we seem able to thread those passes.

Edit - pretty sure I read that this year does not lead into CL. Can't be certain where I read this though.

Defoe showing why hes a great squad player.

    Verts our emergency left back.

Blame me as Rose is picking up tons of points in metros fantasy football,as it uses Opta stats, I picked him and hes injured.

    DOH

Thought Fryers should have started tonight. With Stewart on the bench.
Try and get 3 to 4 nil up before 60 mins.
Then Dawson off, Stewart at RB, Fryers at CB, Naughton to LB.

Really don't understand why Rose was needed for this one. If Fryers isn't ready, then surely we needed another left-back in the window or at least another centre-back?
Hope that Rose's injury isn't a bad one, as he clearly picked it up earlier in the game when one of their players hurt himself diving into a tackle.

Reasonable and comfortable performance, so far. It'd be nice to see the players push on and put away a few more, but escaping intact is more important, arguably.

Radio are saying it's precautionary,as Verts was already getting ready before Rose put his hand up

Fryers will be playing at Villa. That is certain.
I assume Naughton will now be starting LB for Cardiff.

I think they knew he'd got an injury. You could see it by his reaction at the time and he limped about a bit on a couple of occasions afterward.
Hope you're right though Tots, as it's probably the only position that we don't have real cover in.
Not sure why he and Lloris started tonight, to be honest.

I think the way he pulled up, it's more than precautionary. Not necessarily serious, but he was in a lot of discomfort.

Looked like ligament damage to Rose's right foot as it got worse when he pushed it. Anything from 3 days to 3 months.

I really don't rate Dembelé. Is there no other option than this guy? He's wasteful and languid.

Dembele is class at controlling games. Shame for him to get injure though.

    That's:

    Chadli
    Lennon
    Dembele
    Capoue
    Rose

Good job we've got a good squad!

Rose was struggling a while before he pulled up, I noticed him just in shot having issues, way before verbs started warming up. Then he seemed to recover for 1 or 2 touches then went
