3-0 up in Valencia. Must be nice to be a Swansea fan these days. They are a real template for other teams. They've spent but not stupidly and the style of play is just lovely on the eye.

Well at the moment yes but the point is they have done it without any big name signings. Clearly their scouting system is very good. or it's simply due to the manager.

Can you imagine buying someone like Michu for £2.5?

Hands down the bargain of the millennium.

To be fair, Wilfried Bony is a big name signing.

Top goalscorer in Europe last season, 37 goals.

We needed a striker. That's the going rate for a good one these days. Can't see us spending anything like that again any time soon.

I disagree, I think if we stay up you'll see us linked with big money names like Negredo, Owen and even Zamora.

You've got Danny Graham. Be grateful.

It's funny to think that Swansea signed Michu for 2.5m then sold Graham for 5m.

It's also funny to think they sold Allen for £15m and we got Huddlestone for £5m.

Joking aside, Danny Graham remains a player I have a lot of time for and wouldn't have minded seeing stay at Swansea. There are all sorts of rumours going around about his extra curricular activities but if you can get him fit and focused then he's capable of 15 goals a season easy.

Exactly. Allen is a better footballer, but not 10m better.

Also funny to think we bought Mills for 5m then managed to sign Morgan for 1m.

You don't need massive amounts of money to compete. We learned that the hard way <laugh>

I'm not having a go at Graham.

Just that if you were to look at it now then you'd probably be looking at 20m for Michu and 2m for Graham!

    £30m for Michu <laugh>

    He's no Andriy Shevchencko... Yet...

He's too good to sell for £30m, anyone who costs that much is a flop. Best ask for 35 just to be sure.

That is actually a very good point.

Who has cost 30m+ in England and has done well?

You didn't know Bony until a month ago so yeh. £12 million is a lot but they've bought shrewdly.

Michu was also unknown to UK fans. But they were playing well long before them two also. I can only think there's a good mentality there throughout the club.

Pretty sure that anyone who knows anything about football has heard of him.
