Can see the same as Aswan but Shelvey being rested and JDG in an all Spanish speaking central midfield.
A big question will be if communication may let us down tonight. The first language on the pitch for a lot of our players is Spanish. When they here Valencia continually talking in Spanish, will our boys revert to their natural tongue and totally **** up the communication in our team?
Does JDG speaky-de-Espanyol? I know his parent club is there, so maybe. I'm assuming Laudrup does too.
Valencia are favorite tonight. They play as a strong unit, with small, fast and very technically gifted players and they play on their home territory. Laudrup have said, that many changes can be expected, since our match against Liverpool. Let's see:. please log in to view this image Vorm = Vorm is Laudrup nr. 1 keeper, so in a Europan away game, against the group favorite, Vorm will play. Tremmel tend to get the less important European games. Tiendalli = Laudrup wants experience, and Tiendalli has played 22 european matchs (Feyenoord = 3 matchs - Twente 19 matchs) before he came to Swansea. He is general calm and intelligent. Taylor is injured, and Davies is too inexperienced. Tiendalli will get his comeback for Swansea tonight. Amat = Against fast moving Valenica, Amat is better then Williams. More important, Amat knows Valencia since he has played in La Liga, in the last couple of seasons (Espanyol = 41 La Liga matchs - Rayo Vallecano = 27 matchs). And since we are playing so many matchs, the next few weeks, Laudrup will need to rotate our central defenders. Chico Flores = Have played for two La Liga teams (AlmerÃa = 47 La Liga matchs - Mallorca = 33 matchs), and he know most of Valencias players first handed. His defending style, suits South European football better then Williams. Rangel = Rangel will just do his **** - well! Canas = The role as a defensive midfielder will be extremly important tonight. There are two reasons why Canas will play this match. 1. Britton is in quarantine. 2. Canas played in La Liga (Betis = 66 La Liga matchs), and he played there less then 4 months ago. Canas should cover Amat extra because Amat tend to be abit of a liablity. Almost got a red card in an easy match against Malmo. De Guzman = Guzman will get the role as creative midfielder tonight. He showed against Liverpool, that he is a more mature player then Shelvey, and as said earlier, experience is important. And he of course knows the liga well (Mallorca = 34 La Liga Matchs - Villarreal = 19 matchs). Dyer = Dyer played a poor game against Liverpool and only played 45 minuts before Guzman took his place. But since Pablo is injured and Routledge played 90 minuts Monday, Laudrup will give Routledge a break, so Dyer will be a starter. And I think Dyer will do a great job. Against the smaller spanish defenders, Dyer will be perfect with his great technic and speed. Pozuelo = Pozuelo has been an fantastic substitute since the regular season started. When he was a starter against United he was average. But Laudrup knows how great a talent he is. And against small fast spanish players, Pozuelo will be perfect. Pozuelo will therefore be a starter tonight - Lamah is not gifted enough tactical to be a starter against Valencia. Michu = Michu is Michu. He will play every Swansea match in the season. Why, because he want too!. Bony = Against Valencia, I would rather use a faster striker then Bony. But since Vazquez have not even been substitute for Swansea yet, I can't see him being a starter and Donnelly is too inexperienced. If Bony is injured I think Laudrup will surprise everyone and use Pozuelo as striker (and Routledge will need to step in as wing)
Well that was some prediction its spot on!!!! Vorm, Rangel ©, Chico Flores, Amat, Tiendalli, de Guzman, Canas, Pozuelo, Dyer, Michu, Bony Jokeren you arent ML in disguise are you
But the question is did he get the equivalent of the bonus balls i.e. the subs which are: Tremmel, Monk, Davies, Shelvey, Routledge, Lamah, Vazquez.
I wasn't far off!!! Vorm, Davies, Chico, Amat, Rangel, Routledge, Canas, Shelvey, Dyer, Michu, Bony. All right clutching at straws!!!
So any predictions on the score lads? who going to stick their neck out? Ok I'm going for a 2-1 to Swans....................
