We never complained about a ****ing soap character or sent video footage to UEFA about singing outside a football stadium
now you are putting words in my mouth pope, i never said it was silly. i simply said you you used to say it in almost every argument you had on this very subject. Sounds like you are getting desperate.
I wonder if the same people who turn their backs on the concept of remembrance as they (mistakenly) believe it is only honouring the British war dead will turn their backs on the British benefits system which i am sure so many of them abuse.
there goes the historic last ditch retort by the pope, you cant argue with the big boys, when in reality he has never had a single point which i have not counyered in a rational manner and has ignored several of my points raised. dougie 1 pope 0
It would be wrong to tar them all with the same brush but **** these dicks who sing this ****.I was nearly greeting today at 11 bells thinking about the blokes who gave their lives in the war.
I stopped for 2 minutes today in Gatwick Airport and had the two minute silence. I did it as a mark of respect to those around me rather than to the dead, who are after all dead. I've no issue with people wanting to show respect for their dead - I do have an issue with people forcing us as a group to support a charity which gives money to the living British ex-servicemen. I don't care for this charity and the club should not be taking on politically motivated charities such as this when so many of their own fans are divded over the issue. On my own opinions on the mater, of all the innocent UK citizens killed by the British Army in Northern Ireland 85% were from the Irish Catholic community, my community. I've about as much desire to donate money to ex British servicemen as the average Brit would for an IRA Old-boys fund. What annoys me even more is being labelled a bigot for holding views that any reasonable person brought up in similar circumstances would hold - when I tell people I don't care for the Poppy Appeal they look at me as if I've just punched a baby in the face.
Probably a polish **** pope, the place is full of them down here.I heard there might be a ****ing polish cafe opening up next door to me.WTF is this country coming to ?
