Like I've said it's not telepathic you either knew what you were doing or not and once it was pointed out to you what that phrase meant you just ranted when you could have just said that you didn't know the meaning but we both know the truth. As for bans don't be so silly I'm not doing anything that would warrant a ban I'm just disagreeing with you. However I will leave it at that as long as you do.

The phrase you used would offend any Liverpool supporter as it has been used throughout football by opposing fans to mock Hysel and Hillsborough.

You may not have intended to use the phrase in that context but any Liverpool fan reading it would certainly take offence to it.

Listen you piece of filth. You know very well what the general understand of that phrase is yet you intentionally use it to try and gain a point. There's many on other boards that I've argued with but very very few of them would stoop to such a low level.

As for Hysel then if you did some homework then you would know that there is not only a physical memorial at Anfield but there is also a memorial service.

Er....this is the Swansea board. The thread may be about a Liverpool player but was obviously for Swans fans' consumption. It's still our board so nobody has to be sensitive to your sensibilities I'm afraid. Whether it's hurtful or insulting is irrelevant unless it was put on your board for your fans' perusal. It wasn't.

Like I said, I see rotten things about my Club on other boards all the time, especially relating to the audacity of a little Weslh Club like mine playing in "your league". As much as I dislike it, the fact remains they were talking about us not to us. It's not my board so I give 'em my views (robustly) then jog on.

The term "always the victim" is used in more instances than the one your describing, just because you read it that way, does not mean you are right. You may think you are right, but thats as far as it goes.

You could have politely told swim that you found what he said offensive, and it could have been dealt with tidily, instead you acted like a complete and utter bell-end and threw insults, and as a mod you certainly should know better.
