o2 age verification

When browsing this site on 3G using o2, I'm redirected to an age verification page asking for credit card details; it's spoiling my enjoyment of the site not being able to use over 3G. Any plans to change this?

 

I used to have the same problem.

I got frustrated and dropkicked my laptop. Problem solved

 

i would contact o2 and tell them about it.

I work for a mobile provider and we apply an adult content barring restrictions on all usb modems.

Its better to do it this way as some customers give their devices to their children to use.

Its then up to the customer to call our heldesk and ask for the restriction to be lifted which can be done within minutes

 

All mobile companies do it, they don't believe you're over 18 unless you bring a passport into the shop. I went absolutely berserk in the Orange shop, ****ing **** asked me for ID when he was about 17.

I'm with o2 and regularly access 'adult content' while having my mid afternoon ****e. Never had a problem with age verification.

I wouldn't feel comfortable asking for it to be removed, it's basically telling a wee bird in a call centre that you're a perverted ****.
