agree. When he first came on his positioning was appaling and left us very exposed in the left back area - wasn't able to judge so much in the second half as he was done the other end. Hopefully its a case of settling in and match practice. Otherwise, very impressive going forwards and some great balls which we have been lacking.

Good grief are you serious? what game was you watching? .. Corners I watched him from 3 yards away in the first half try to knock it to the far post post and as Willy said it hit the first defender on the knees ... His free kicks wee better but last night Joey Barton dead ball kicks were 40% successful. BAE is a very good player and shouldn't get caught out at this level ... I hope he does go forward ... If we have Henry in the team then as what happened last night he fills any of the gaps ... Its Henry's job and he did that very well last night ... so many think he does nothing

Agree, Henrys role is to protect the defence from the slips and fumbles that happen during a game. He wont score goals but he will provide a solid base for team, making us very hard to beat. Hence helping us to 5 clean sheets in a row.

I too thought BAE was a joy to watch last night. I hope he does not get complacent, being the best player on the pitch, but rather spurs (intentional pun!) the others on to greater things too.

Look forward to a lot of 0-0 draws then. I found last night a thoroughly dispiriting experience. I don't pay my money to watch someone like Henry, I want to see some creativity. Henry's inclusion takes a place away from someone with more footballing ability.

If he can play that well on one hours sleep the night before, then imagine how good he will be after a full night's kip - because according to that absolute bell end Durham on Talksh't last night he had tweeted that he had been up all night playing GTA5 (that's Grand Theft Auto v5 for anyone over 35!). The idiot then went on to say that BAE is the most overrated defender in the premier league ever - smacks of a little bit of jealousy there Adrian? - BAE would not have gotten a mention on Talksh't if he had not come to us on loan.
And if you look at what he actually wrote on Twitter he does not mention anything about staying up all night you tool Durham!!

Our main creative player is at Fulham, because unfortunately he didnt want to be here. I'm hoping that Krancjar will fill the void. However I'm happy if we play ugly and get promoted after last seasons disaster. Whatever it takes to go up, I'll support. Its too important financially for the club to worry about not seeing the nutmegs and stepovers (as much I loved watching adel during our promotion season).

    Lets get promoted.

Yes I was, I go to most games.

It wasnt pretty and we are devoid of creativity, its plain to see. But we are top and I think for the clubs future financial security we must get promoted as soon as possible. So, in my opinion, I'll take it (promotion) any way it comes.

The pretty football can come later. Lets just knuckle down and achieve our aim in any way possible.

i am however hopefull that Krancjar will be the missing link for us.

I agree stroller but I also believe that Harold is building a team on a solid foundation even i can't slag him for that ... agree we aren't the QPR we hoped we would be ... Taarabt etc is what we are used to but we have to get out of this league now by hook or by crook

Fair enough guys, of course I want to see us promoted - I'd just like us to play with some style (and score some goals).

I thought he was pretty bad for the 1st 5 mins but thats expected as he finds his legs but after that he was good going forward and one of the few who just didnt want to take the safe 5 yard pass and get their passing completion ratio stats up while not actually helping the team.

I think Ekotto is very good, but not a patch on double Champions' League winner Jose Bosingwa.

I don't know what game people were watching, we were decent. A million times better than V Birmingham, and Brighton looked the toughest opposition we faced. We were missing Hoillet, AJ, Kranjcar, a 100% Phillips. Blimey some are getting greedy on here these days... "We're the mighty QPR and should be steamrollering these minnows who dare to face us".

Or maybe just don't up with a defensive 451 with no playmaker against a side offering zero attacking threat. Carroll or Hitchcock didn't play a single minute.

As for yeovil, we should be hitting 3 or 4 past them, we won't even have 3 shots on target if we play that team against them.

Zero attacking threat? Sorry flyer that's way off, a lot of their passing interchange on the edge of our box was very menacing. Our defence is now so effective, that when we keep a clean sheet, that automatically means the opposition offered "zero attacking threat". There were many occasions where they were inches away from creating chances, and were only prevented by excellent defending from the back 5.

Carol was absolute garbage V Birmingham. Trust me, he was. I saw his game Vs Moldova a week ago, when he excelled- and Saturday's performance was a world away. Two of yesterday's changes were enforced, Onouha+Phillips. I'd have preferred to see Faurlin replace Jenas(when has that guy ever performed well for us?), but certainly wouldn't have liked to see us weaken the defensive unit. I had the sneaking feeling throughout that Brighton were going to grab something undeservedly late on...

We actually looked worse when Henry came off, for all the knockers.
