INJURY UPDATE: AJ is also set for a spell on the sidelines, with a mild knee strain likely to keep him out of action for the next few weeks.

Redknapp is hoping to go into the loan market for a striker in the next 24 hours if possible. Has a shortlist all ready to work on. #QPR

I thought it was Bobby Z's hip that was giving him jip?

Other than that, Johnson was always going to be in and out of fitness so no surprise there. Lets hope Onouha's hammy ain't too bad.

Its good that Redknapp reckons he's close to bringing in a striker.

(P.S. Thanks for the updates Grifter)

Whatever has he been up to? Certainly not thumbing through the Yellow Pages looking for a new job?

Might as well do Zamora's hip, he's going to come back as bad as he was before.

Looks like we will need a loan cb as well.

I said we were paper thin and the two we couldn't afford to go down were Austin and Onuoha.

Extremely wishful thinking, possibly bordering on delusion ................ but Defoe on loan for the rest of the season will do nicely.

It's a language problem. Harry told him to pull his finger out.

In last nights commentary Bradley Allen and the other guy were talking about possible loans i.e. Harry Kane and Bradley said with a nudge, nudge, wink, wink that Adebayor was more likely, sounded like he knew something??

I hope the club gets in a big name now
I look forward to who the idiots pick on now that BZ is out ... SWP?

Had words with a dope last night who not only got a warning for his sexist chants but also ripped into SWP

Honestly SWP last night put a shift in and his tracking back was outstanding at times ... I won't have a word said against him and if anyone think this player is lazy then they should be chucked out LR IMO ... He makes odd decisions going forward but he is QPR and a great team player

We have let in two goals lads

We need to focus on that and SWP stopped what looked like a good Brighton chance in the 2nd half

I look forward to BZ and AJ returning as they are class players and I hope the moaning stops

No-one said SWrongP is lazy DT - he´s just clueless and NOT a football player, as for BZ and AJ, the sooner these sick notes are out of QPR the better, should have been gone long ago. Let the youth have ago these two old crocks will spend more time on the treatment table counting their money than they will on the pitch this season - I guarantee, we´ll do the stats together at the end of the season.

With great respect Madrid, if SWP is NOT a football player then he's made a bloody good living out of it.
As DT said, he made a sublime tackle last night that stopped a gilt opportunity for Brightoon to score, and while not the best player in the world, he put a shift in last night.
Rangers fans since the year dot always need a pantomime villain and now BZ is out, I think SWP is gonna fit the bill for most.

I love SWP for his application, speed, the power of his shots and general work rate. We all know he is not the best player but not the worst by a very long way.

We come to football to be entertained and SWP even managed that last night when he tackled himself over on the left wing in the second half. I thought it was very funny!

We also need to remember who scored the winning goal against Chelscum at The Bridge.

About the loan, I have it on very good authority that Peter Crouch is not at all happy at Stoke.

Agreed .................. I have it on very good authority that no one likes working under Hughes, fullstop ..................... and I'm all the way over here in Oz !

I'd be delighted to see him back at Loftus Road - just as soon as we get the wingers used to hitting the dead ball line and getting some decent crosses in! One thing that was very noticeable last night was how few times the wide men tried going around the outside of the defenders. almost every time they cut in, and it was getting far too predictable.

I appreciate your point of view Stainesy and maybe I was a little harsh saying SWrongP was not a football player, he is obviously a lot better than us old duffers, I tend to judge players over their entire stay at QPR and not just one last gasp tackle against a team 18 hours ago and for me SWP just doesn´t stand out as a net contributer to QPR over the last couple of seasons (Chelsea goal and WBA disallowed included). The way DT describes some players you would think we have a team of Lionel Messis. At the end of the day these guys are paid to run, tackle, create, score, save, defend, etc........ it is just their job and they should be expected to do their job.
