Just thought I'd post that 'Sir' Bradley Wiggins (Sky) is in 12th position, 30 secs down on the leader, after the second stage. Simon Yates of the Great Britain team is 2nd, at 20 secs.

Wiggy won the 3rd stage Individual Time Trial from his Sky team mate - Ian Stannard - by a margin of 36 secs.
Wiggy is now overall race leader by a margin of 39 secs over 2nd-placed Stannard.

Just watching the highlights and there's a bit of a discussion on the no radios rule. Any idea on why they don't allow it?

I couldn't find it on your link Stan. I'll rummage later.

Found the story on the link when I was rummaging. CLICKETY CLICK. I don't know what to make of it

Basically, his story is he got knocked off his bike by a drunk driver. The Police attended, but not only did nothing, they refused to take action further and then denied even being there at all. He says they then went on to threaten him.

Sounds very dubious, but it is WYP he's on about.

It's because it isn't a top level race and those are the UCI rules for this level of race

Mark Cavendish wins today's 7th stage sprint; Wiggy still overall leader; last day tomorrow.
