Both back in contention for saturday from injury and suspension.

Would you put either straight in, for me yes, jos for roberge and giacc for mavrias but i want to see him on the left and aj on the right.

In other news brown is not far away

Mav tired 2nd half but wasnt bad. Could giacch not play the central midfield run. Admittedly he's deffo not the physical presence we wanted but he can thread a decent pass. Stick catts & A.N.Other in midfield to protect him and see how it goes.

I got the impression mav needs to play with an attack minded full back which jack isnt.

I would like to see :

Celustka..diakite..jos....colback

...............catts

................ki

Aj...........................giacc

..........fletch...jozy

I was under the impression JOS had a 3 match ban? Automatic red and all that.

I'd be happy to see that team. Would leave a decent bench as well.
Think Gards will keep his place tho. Got us back in the game and then got another w*nk decision off Atkinson to get booked and had too take it easy

Di Canio boosted by pair’s return.
Paolo Di Canio says Emanuele Giaccherini and John O’Shea will be in contention for this weekend’s game at West Brom.
An injury ruled Giaccherini out of the defeat to Arsenal but Di Canio says he is available ahead of the trip to The Hawthorns.
He will be joined by captain O’Shea, who served a one-match ban last weekend.
The Irishman had limped out of the Republic of Ireland’s World Cup qualifier against Austria whilst away on international duty.
But both are ready for duty this weekend to further bolster Di Canio’s options.
“They are ready to be selected,” Di Canio told safc.com. “We know Giaccherini is crucial, and O’Shea – our captain – is a crucial player.
“There is no doubt they will be in the game.”

So far from my opunion!! I'd be terrified if Mav played with am attack minded full back. He can't defend for toffee!! Looked very good going forward but Jack was defending against 2 all the time he was on. We'd (imo) het hammered if we played mav with an attack minded full back!! Might get a couple or goals but would concede more

Not saying it would be fruitfull, just looked as though he'd been used to playing with wing backs, seemed he was waiting for jack to overlap, which tbf did happen once and ki managed to split the defense

Still the most calming influence we have in defence jos. I like both roberge and diakite but O'shea is just calming when there and communicates better than the others (well imo anyway!)
