Oh this has been around for years, took a long time before the BBC caught a sniff of it. Can't even be bothered about this any more. The fans don't want a name change, court said the club's name is not against the law and the owner of the Redskins likes to keep things as they are. So there is no discussion except for those who want to live in a perfect political correct world, and the BBC.

Never knew support for the Cowboys was that big, stretches over seven states. And can anyone explain me why South Carolina is all-Steelers?

Nah they got their casino's, they're loaded man! Gotta love stereotypes

No of course I check into that. They've done surveys/polls and more amongst the Native Americans and a majority of the group can't be bothered either by the name. And 'Merica wouldn't be 'Merica if groups of people would argue that these are mostly flawed or biased or whatever. Anyways, I never sugercoat things, hate that: only the ultra political correct people are causing a ruckus over the name.

Only winding you up Cove mate <ok>

I'm chuffed with the Dolphins' start so far. Not completely convincing by any means, but can't really complain at 2-0. Atlanta will be a tough one - should give us a better idea of just how strong we are this season.

Well, we're (Colts) not very good this year and you were very evenly matched with us :D That said, if Castonzo didn't have the game of his life shutting out Cam Wake, it'd have been very different.

Castonzo did have a solid game, yes. I am concerned about our pass defense in the backfield (as usual), and I reckon Gonzalez could cause us some serious problems judging by how open Fleener was getting for you guys.
What do you think of Ryan Tannehill? Do you reckon he'll progress as well as Luck/RGIII?

Yeah, Fleener isn't even very good so the time he has getting is a bit of a concern.

I like Tannehill, I think he'll be a very solid player for years to come and he impressed me on Sunday, but I can't see it. Griffin, maybe, he looks to be stalling a fair bit this season, but I think he'll always be behind the likes of Luck and Wilson. Tannehill could well be very good, but those two (plus Griffin and Kaepernick) all have the potential to be really special. Still, I'd be happy if I had Tannehill on my team - just not as happy as I am with Andrew!

I really like Wilson and I hope he does well. Hopefully he'll continue to confound his critics.

I don't know what it is in these first two seasons, none of last year's rookies have impressed me so far this season. in fact, most of the QB's have made an impression except for Payton Manning and Aaron Rodgers. The running game of Wilson, Kaepernick and Luck seem a bit off, last year where they normally would go for a sprint to get a first down, they now dribble around contemplating whether to throw or to run. And more than often get sacked. The hype of RGIII is pretty much dead and this time Griffin has to make magic all by himself and so far has failed to deliver.

Tannehill is the only one that has a 2-0 and made a decent impression. Looks like has more self esteem and he throws the ball much earlier after the snap. I liked him last year but got overshadowed by you know whom. Think he will be much more in the spotlights this season as he doesn't have the same media pressure and doesn't have to cope with high fans expectations. But that's just me

At the moment I'd take any of them over Ponder to be honest. I'd even consider Tebow!

I'm gonna go into homer mode, but what are you talking about in regards to Luck's running game? He's a very effective runner in terms of picking up first downs, as we've seen this year and last, but he'd often take off and sprint?! He only got about 250 yards on the ground last year because he absolutely didn't do that, only when he needed a first down, which he did very well because he's got very good decision making in that area. This year hasn't exactly been any different, given his touchdown run against Raiders and plays like this:

Yes, he gets sacked a lot, but if you knew anything about our team you'd know that's because of our offensive line. To say he's not impressed you is bizarre unless you've not actually watched him - but then, I remember you moaning about Kaepernick's performance against Green Bay where he threw for over 400 yards, 3 TDs and no INTs, so maybe your quarterback evaluation isn't the best.

That's without even going into your assertion that Manning and Rodgers are the only two QBs in the league to have made a positive impression...

Chill out man, of the four I mentioned Luck is the most consistent, and you can say what you want, I'm was not impressed by Kaepernick against the GB, stats have nothing to do with it. Didn't like his movement, his running and at times his decision making. He made the exact same mistakes this weekend and it was blow out for the Seahawks. Kinda helped that Al Gore had one of his worst games in his career. And Wilson didn't look steady either in that game, got sacked unnecessarily a couple of times. RG3, well we've all seen the plays this weekend at Lambeau Field.

And Manning and Rodgers are the only two who made a solid impression over two games, that doesn't mean there are no other positive impressions. Manuel, Cutler and Brees are looking very decent but all had their ups and downs in the past couple of games. And looking at the first two rounds the offense of the Pats, Steelers, Giants and the Ravens look very flaky and I can't see anyone of these teams make it to the SB. So all I'm saying is that I think GB and the Broncos are right now the main contenders for the Lombardi trophy. But that's just my opinion.

Pretty stunning to say the least, he may not of set the league on fire but basically it's a 3rd overall pick a year removed from putting up 1300 yards from scrimmage and 12 touchdowns whilst playing the majority of the season with broken ribs, going for what will likely be a first round pick somewhere in the low teens. Whatever way you look at it I can't wrap my head around that.

I love the player (his YPC and all that can be mitigated with the broken ribs, and that he was playing against 8 in the box pretty much every play which won't happen in Indy) but I'm not sure a RB is the right move for us. Still... very exciting. Very, very exciting. Reactions from some Browns fans are hilarious.

Might not be the missing piece of the puzzle right now but regardless it's another very talented young player into the equation, you've got a core at the offensive skill positions that could last you a very long time.
