..... got the tickets and looking forward to everything 'clicking'. I know things are but looking poor but I don't doubt Di Canio and the coaches are working flat out. I've no idea what team we'll have out but whatever it is I'll cheer it and I know the supporters will be there in numbers as always. Haway Lads!
Enjoy lad, I've read on here someone saying it's a massive 6 pointer which I found astonishing for this time of the season but our recent form/results have left us in a bad need of a win. Here's hoping it's the turning point of our season.
Games like this are 6 pointers at any time of the season, mate. WBA are one of our "rivals", and you'd normally expect them to be in the same segment of the table as us.
im off to Kenya at the weekend, wont b around for a while but enjoy the game hope to catch it on tv somewhere
Hell of a long way to come to support the lads so you enjoy mate Hopefully a good result & the start of our season..
Its not looking good for for the loser. We have Liverpool and Man Utd they have Man Utd and Arsenal. Be interesting to see Di Canios team. For me our key to victory is keeping them quiet and goaless, the crowd will get nervous and we have some good options now to change things up. Id consider a 5 man midified to begin with cos if he concede early we could get steamrolled
I was at the Arsenal match and saw enough to know that there are enough good players to finish mid-table. West Brom away is the perfect match, away to a team under pressure and who will expect to win. A victory on Saturday would change our season and give us the one thing we seem to be lacking, confidence.
Sess will be hyped up for this match plus we always get humped down there so it doesnt look good at the minute.
I would still prefer 2 strikers as the time for being timid has long passed. We need to be bold and confident as they are not in good fettle. If we score first we could well steamroller them.
He will be pumped up so that's 10 mins of the game he will be in then? I'm not concerned about him at all tbh.
Not many players can be in the game for 90 mins when the players behind him cant keep the football, put Sess in a better team and watch him shine, be interesting to see how he does at WBA, I am worried about him Sat as WBA will have a lot of the ball and he will be in the game a lot.
WBA are no better than us IMO. I expect to see exactly the same frustrating performance he gave us so many times and I think we will frustrate him tbh. He isn't that much of a threat. Now watch that statement come back and bite me. Lol
Sess has yet to get a work permit, expecting it through today but they've been saying that for two weeks apparently. Interesting.
