The first post isn't even there anymore, so nothing makes sense in this article anymore anyways, plus it says it was started by Beatski, yet I know it was HMT. Also I never go on the general board, and a little conversation about this is just banter between what I would class as mates. It doesn't always have to be about football. Anyways, I am not blaming it on you AB for putting it across...just stating my point

I really wish people would grow up about things like this. There are no aliens anywhere near us, yes, there is life out there in the universe somewhere - there simply has to be as space is endless. The facts are that life on this planet is total LUCK and not the work of aliens... The universe is endless so there HAS to be some other life out there somewhere but it's never been near us. Wakey wakey.
I think the general consensus of the thread was just that joker. Not quite sure what you are shouting about. Preaching to the converted and all that etc....
The Sumerians also believed that the sky was a dome, above which was a salt water ocean. I don't think we should put too much store in what they have written. Especially seeing as humans pretty much genetically identical to modern man existed for tens of thousands of years before the start of civilisation.
All life on Earth is Alien. It was `delivered' by comets colliding with Earth millions of years ago. Our advanced civilisation is not the first to appear on Earth. Not one scientist can explain how the Giza Pyramid was built or what it's purpose was. There have been `out-of-place' artefacts found all over the planet that can't be explained, dated tens of thousands of years ago. Modern technology cannot replicate the tolerances required to machine the stones of Puma Punku, Giza or the South American Pyramids. `All of a sudden' Civilization `starts' 6000 years ago with the Sumerians? Accepted Global history is bullshit, made up by scientists that have guessed. Open your mind.
Guys. Check out the Drake Equation. It proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that the chances of there NOT being intelligent, advanced civilizations out there is astronomically (excuse the pun!) high. If you do even a simple overview of the sums involved: the billions of galaxies; the billions of stars in those galaxies, the billions upon billions of planets surrounding those stars, then for anyone to assume even for a second that we are alone in the universe simply beggars belief.
