Contrary to some peoples perceptions on this forum I am not a wum; a mag and neither do I want PDC to fail. If he does fail then so does the club and all of us with it.

My reservations about his ability to do the job remain firmly intact but to set the record straight once and for all I desperately, desperately want both him and the players to turn this situation round and succeed and there can be no better place to start doing that then at the Hawthorns on Saturday.

Totally 100% behind the club, the team and the manager for this weekend and let's see if we can get a win on board at last. I believe we have the players to do it and the will to see it through but we need a win in whichever way it comes. I'll happily take a scrappy horrible 1-0 at this moment.

Cest. I think you've been around long enough to not have to explain your position.
All of what you said above is I'm sure obvious to most on here.

I'm not so sure about that having been labelled a wum and a mag and someone who apparently likes to see my club struggling in recent days?

I do have massive doubts still over PDC but I have never been anything other than supportive at games. I was the same with Bruce tbh at games and just wanted to clarify that.

Who called you a mag?? FFS they obviously don;t know you!

People often get wound up at your opinions because of your strong character - and I have disagreed with a lot of your opinions recently and told you so and you've been perfectly dignified in your retorts to me so I have respect and we both agree that opinions are our entitlement- I've also known you (in a purely forum sense) for years now - christ I feel closer to half the people on here than I do certain members of my family!! Just keep posting mate - no qualms here at all

As for a scrappy, horrible 1-0 win - I'd love one of our players to go into the box on 92 minutes and dive to win a penalty - love to hear what Steve Clarke says about it and would also like the interviewer to say something like "well didn't one of your players dive in the box at Sunderland last season" when he whinges - I'D LOVE IT!!!

    Cheers Steve.

It's funny how WBA did a Bruce last season, starting off brilliant only to fade badly after January. They have been on a bit of a slide for a while and it may be a good chance to capitalise. Clark has looked much more tetchy lately in TV interviews whilst to be fair to Paolo he has remained very cool.

Fancy Jozy to make up for the disappointment of last weekend.

I agree, but certain newspapers this morning are saying there is a vendetta against PDC at Sunderland, I don't know if it's true or not, anyone heard that?

I think all of us at one point of have been called a wum or mag. It is a generic impersonal insult, given because people either disagree or don't follow your point.

As for WBA, they are doing this season what a lot had predicted for them last season. What is crack with Anelka? Haven't heard anything on that one for a while.

Yes, Cest - you may have doubts over the manager however those doubts do not prejudice or hinder your support of the club, nobody who is anybody on here would suggest you are a wum, Mag or even worse a Mag wum.

It's all about opinions - having one of your own, respecting others and there being no shame in changing your opinion after listening to a debate or preferably being swayed by a run of impressive performances and results to match, lets hope the latter changes things soon.

Looks like Martin Samuel has been drinking from Adrian Durham's coffee cup and caught the rabid dislike of Sunderland that Durham has.

If you read the comments after the article they highlight some excellent points

I like reading your comments Cest. I think most people do. without trying to sound too patronsing, you know what your talking about. But so does the like of Smug, Bri, Stu, Billy, Bart and the rest. Personaly I think it's funny as fook when a couple of us clash ( not me, I'm a nice lad) It's called passion FFS and when that goes then the problem starts for me. 90% don't know one another from Adam and I would suspect if everyone sat in a room there would be clicks and some would get on more than others. It's called Life. Fortunately freedom doesn't cost a lot in this country so to each and every single poster on this board. Say what the hell you like. I for one, want to read it.
