Apparent Old Trafford was empty so what the the daily fail and some Chav FC fans think. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ayer-Leverkusen-Empty-seats-Old-Trafford.html Not sure if 74k full of a possible of 75k can be classed as empty, still thats 30K more than Chav fc could get in a game.
I love their "we sold out United at home" and "we took 2,500 out of a possible 3,500 to Sunderland" threads. They spend hours congratulating each other on what a big club they are because they get gates that any club near the top of the league would expect to achieve. Odd obsession for an armchair fan to have.
Love it We always struggle to sell out the CL group games in mid week. The average last season in the groups was around 73,000. But no, us getting 74,000 is all down to the "Moyes" effect
all the big teams get the rub of the green, maybe one day ££££ may get a few..... ....one day, but not yet
Good win and good performance. Ok Leverkusen didn't play well (no great advert for that ex-scouser Hyypia was it??) but you can only beat what's in front of you. I liked the resilience in coming back when they equalised so soon after a dreadful miss by Rooney. And the attacking reminded me of the old days...In RVP and Rooney we have the best strikeforce in the premiership (and for the so called pundits/bookies to put so much emphasis on manager changes and ignore that is simply absurd). Not so good, the bad farcical misses, and the letting in of 2 poor goals. First one the ball should have been cleared ages ago before the shot and second, poor GK and clearance from the defenders around him. Kagawa appeared light weight but not surprising as he needs to get back to full match fitness... Overall, happy with the performance...
his best friend Christian 'chucho' Benitez died this summer, that's why he kissed the tattoo and looked up to the heavens.
anyone else wondering where the fk is Zaha or Nani? they could had been more useful yesterday trying to crack this compact team
