Got a few away tickets me and few mates heading down there . Will it be sleepy Ville or lively to say the least ?

Parking ? Pubs ? Suggestions would be appreciated .

I went to Yeovil the only time we have ever played them.
The FA cup 3rd round in the late eighties
Mark Falco scored two and Kevin Brock scored one in a 3-0 win
Dont remember too much about parking or pubs from then though

I was at that one. Loads of us walked from the station, which was miles away , escorted by the nicest police escort ever. Very polite and even asked if we would mind stepping off the road and onto the pavement.

Spent a week in Yeovil a few years back, doing a weeks plastering course. Seemed a nice town, with a few pubs and bars dotted around. Friendly locals but if course that might change with football.

I have also been to see Yeovil against Stevenage :)

Far different to the old Yeovil ground of when QPR last played there

Didn't we get done 3-0 there in the Mickey Mouse Cup about 10 years ago? I saw Yeovil at Dulwich Hamlet back in the mid 90s in the Ryman Premier, they've come a long way since then...

Take a read of this... There's a couple of reviews that might help near the bottom.

I was there for the f.a. cup game, we went to a very nice country pub just outside of the town, when we asked if there was a pool table in the other bar the very nice young lady behind the bar replied with "Pool? What be that?",
We ended up playing a nice game of table skittles. It was an enjoyable visit to the West Country.

Different ground now but yes I was there as well, the ground was close to the middle and spitting distance from Pubs but now it's further out of town in what used to be an industrial park, so not sure about the pubs on that side town.

I wanted to go to the away game but found that the QPR coach was a rip off and the train stations aren't actually at all close to the ground. Is it sold out yet and can anyone recommend a cheaper and easier way of getting there?

Went to the FA cup game and have fond memories of friendly people and a warm welcome, even from the old Bill!
