Didn't Harold scream and scream and scream until he was sick to get Levy to take Abedayour to Spurs? Things which will stop this happening - Abedayour doesn't fancy it or we (i.e Beard/TF) don't like the finances. He's obviously triffic in H's eyes.

Still loving the assumptions made about his, or any one else's character on here.

I suppose because a bus he was on was shot up and that he donates money from his £160k per week to charity means we should assume he's alright?

    Fail. Must try harder.

I think the assumptions are based on once bitten twice shy. It would seem reasonable to assume that as HR knows Adebayor, he is confident that he will not upset the new-found dressing-room harmony. However, he knew him as part of a premier league team with CL ambitions. Would he knock his pipe out in the Championship? I don't think so. Plus it would cost silly money.

Compare your comment Swords to Stroller's ( a great poster in my view). What he has done is considered the evidence and taken a view. What you have done is attempted a wind up. Fail.

Based on what? we may as well play Hitchcock if we're looking at younger strikers. I'm certainly not a huge Adebayor fan but he'd be more than a handful the average championship defence.

I agree with you. I'd give Hitchcock and our other youngsters a go.

My reasons for not wanting players like Adebayor at the Club this season are already well documented.

Just mentioned on another thread that after the match commentary last night the commentator asked Bradley Allen about loans and the possibility of getting Harry Kane and Bradley's reply sounded had a nod and a wink about it that Adebayor is more likely and how he would star in the championship, by the tone of his voice it sounded like he knew something?

It says AVB looking at short term loan, ie until Christmas. Seems he will look to sell him in next window.
Sounds like a win-win. Adebayor needs to do well and get out of Spurs, we need goals!
Harry knows him well enough and may well see it as a gamble worth taking. If he's fit and ready to give us goals, why not. It's not like we're buying him, that will be our January task (which will be much easier if we're topping the league then!!).
And still have youngsters available should anything happen to our current (remaining) striker.
