Must be much debate on this after Saturday's mixed reviews on almost every player

Anyone want 442 with BZ in the team?
Does SWP's universally critically acclaimed "acceptable" performance last Saturday warrant a start?
What do we do with Carroll?
    Clint?
    Henry?
    Are Hoilett and AJ injured?
Do we give Dunn a rest yet?
Should Matt Phillips get game time from the start?

What are the current odds on 1 nil?

Anyone want 442 with BZ in the team? Absolutely not.
Does SWP's universally critically acclaimed "acceptable" performance last Saturday warrant a start? Probably, due to injuries to others.
What do we do with Carroll? Persist.
    Clint? Rested if BAE fit.
    Henry? No thanks.
Are Hoilett and AJ injured? Almost certainly.
Do we give Dunn a rest yet? Not yet.
Should Matt Phillips get game time from the start? Didn't look fit enough.

What are the current odds on 1 nil? Even money?

Doubt Phillips is fit to start and doubt Hoilett is fit at all.

My team: Green: Same defence: SWP, Faurlin, Carroll, Barton, O,Neil: Austin

Phillips on for last half an hour.

I believe Brighton have a fairly extensive injury list of their own and a red card from their last game that was a definite red.

I've a gut feeling there will be some changes.
Dunne has now played several games in quick succession. Hill didn't play during the international period so he should be ok for a while longer. Would like to see Dunne rested and Hill moved to CB with suk young in at LB.

Also think that Austin has put in several good shifts in the last few games. He will need a rest soon and I'd prefer to rest him in a home game.

Would like to see a few of the squad players getting game time tonight such as Jenas, Faurlin and SWP.

People think Brighton will be a walk in the park. We are not in a position to rest key players as these will give us a very good game.

I'd go with Green; Simpson, Onuoha, Dunne, BAE; Hoilett (or Phillips), Barton, Jenas, SWP; AJ, Austin.

Subs: Phillips (or Hoilett), O'Neill, Krancjar, Murphy, Zamora, Hill, Carroll.

    ..........................Green..........................

    Simpson Dunne Onuoha Benoît Assou-Ekotto

    ...........................Henry.........................

    Hoilett .............Barton O'Neil .............SWP

    ..........................Austin..........................

    Phillips if Hoilett not fit

Brighton won't score against that team

    Bring on AJ, Carroll, Jenas/Faurlin

I saw this from the corner of my eye and thought why do you want 5 at the back for Brighton with Henry sitting in front?

    ..........................Green................... .......

    Simpson Dunne Onuoha Benoît Assou-Ekotto

    ...........................Henry.................. .......

    Hoilett .............Barton O'Neil .............SWP

    ..........................Austin.................. ........

Why are we talking about resting players? They've just had two weeks off! And our lot will have had an extra days rest compared to Brighton. Yes, this week sees 3 games, but then it's a game every Saturday, till December and including an international break in October. Surely our pampered professional athletes can manage that?

Brighton may not score with that team but neither will we.

4231 with no Zamora or SWP. BAE in at lb.

Don’t think Hoilett can be risked. Hopefully BAE is fit enough to start and Dunne may need a rest because he is injury prone but start if physio okays it.

    -----------------Green-----------------
    Simpson----Dunne----Onouha-----BAE
    -------------Barton --- Faurlin-----------
    O’Neil-------------Carroll--------Krancjar
    --------------------Austin--------------------

Or if AJ is fit-4-4-2 with Carroll out.

    Phillips on for half hour

Only because Dunne has played alot of games in the past week for QPR and Ireland. Hoilett looked to come off injured on Saturday, and I doubt AJ is back yet:

    ..........................Green................... .......

    .............Simpson Onuoha Hill BAE.........
    ........................Barton O'Neil..................
    SWP...................Carroll .............Phillips
    ..........................Austin.................. ........

Philips to do an hour and then make way. Hopefully for Niko who played 60 mins for the EDS on the weekend.

AJ is out till the middlesborough game I think, although there's no news of hoillet yet... But that must be to play mindgames with birghton, because I can't see him being fit for a while. We looked very shaky at the weekend, so time to go with this:

    Green

    Simpson Onouha Hill BAE

    Henry Barton

    O'niel Carroll SWP

    Austin

Dunne's probably knackered after his busy international schedule, and Kranjcar clearly not fit given his 60mins for the eds yesterday.

With the lack of attacking options due to injury, i'd have Hitchcock and sheriff on the bench. Bring M.Phillips on during the second half, too.

Because he will allow the five in front of him to play as well as the full backs to bomb on. Henry: First name of the sheet for me

Can't see him changing a back four that hasn't conceded for so long. But will be keen to bring in Assou-Ekotto...

    Green
    Simpson Dunne Onouha Hill
    Barton Henry
    Wright-Phillips O’Neil Assou-Ekotto
    Austin

My only change to this would be to give Dunne a rest, this would be his 4th game in 10 days and at his age he needs a break, so I would move BAE to LB, Clint to partner Ned in the centre and put Carroll in between SWP & O'Neill.

If Dunne is not rested then I would put Clint on the bench as Brighton could target his lack of pace against Lua Lua, so BAE would be the better option

Give that side an hour and then introduce Krancjar and Phillips.

Apparently Brighton have a tricky RW that could run rings around hill. A good manager will change the side to counter that, a bad manager will wait until the defender gets skinned and possibly a goal or two down.

    Simpson--------Onuoha--------Dunne-------------BOE
    -----------------Barton------Henry-------------------
    SWP-------------------Carroll----------------Krancjar
    ----------------------Austin-------------------------

This is assuming that Hoilett isn't fit and Phillips not match fit yet.
