Not quite sure how we would be upset by United having the most fans in country? What does that prove exactly? With success comes hangers on, and glory hunters. Not that i'm saying any of you lot are. But it's true. Casual fans and young fans tend to support the most successful. Do you remmeber the Chelsea boom of 03?

I'd like to see a stat for how many supporters each club has in it's own city...not that Salford is a city, but you know what I mean.

They did this a while back. Pretty sure it urned out United had the most fans in the local area aswell. Could be that we had more than City but it was one or the other. I think you forget Everton split Liverpool (the city) in half support wise.
Man Utd fans: 17% more likely to believe they get a raw deal out of life. That's certainly true, although I'd suggest the percentage is much higher.
