what game did you watch..of course we changed tactics. they bossed us in the first half and in the second half we played the same game but were better at it as i have said many times....
If we changed tactics - and I believe we did, it didn't really show until Bony was taken off, and Coutinho got injured. Both were really in our favour. Bony didn't play badly, but until Swansea learn how to service him properly, he will need to be carried by the team. Dyer was awful, JDG was a grat improvement (which says a lot since I don't hold him in very high regard).
We played the same game throughout, no change in tactics, just change in personnel. Anyone with an ounce of common sense could see that Dyer was the weak link, and when we replaced him, we were a full team again. The tactics however never changed. Still played the exact same tactics, just with 11 pulling their weight. We played nothing like your beloved Rodgers, you just will not ever admit that Laudrup's tactics do work, not all the time, but like all managers, they have their good and bad days, today was a great day cos it was against your beloved Rodgers. Who was lucky to come away with a point.
Just got in. First half was quite even some of Liverpool's play was very good to be fair and you can see the effect BR has had on their team. Great save from Vorm from their header but that in reality was the only chance they created in the 1st half. We gifted them 2 goals. 2nd half different story, last 30 minutes we dominated totally. For me the turning point was the bookings for Lucas and Shelvey. Until then the ref had given them the benefit of the doubt in the 50/50 decisions but the bookings changed things. Lucas put his hands up and it should have been a red card end of. It got the crowd going and galvanised the team. From there on in there was only one team in it. Definitely a case of two points dropped
Really?? you think that's why he got injured. You don't Thinks it's because of that dirty fat ****s' awful and dangerous tackle on Coutinho.
Good game fellas glad we got a point as there was lot of pressure in the 2nd half but if we can keep seeing games out and grabbing points then we'll do ok. Can see you lot moving up the table in the next few weeks and I'll eat my words with Shelvey he is looking good and doing a job for you.
It was cynical, it was far from dangerous, he just fell awkwardly, and it didn't help that Chico basically fell on him too. To say it was a dangerous tackle is laughable.
Are you serious? Have you seen the replay? His leg stays out a bit too long, he leaps over it to win the foul then hurts his shoulder when landing. Don't jump like such a mincer and you won't get hurt.
The commentator also said it was dangerous, I agree with you though yes a foul and a yellow but no malice and not a red for me in a million years. I just hope he's ok as he's important to us.
I suppose even the partial enjoyed this game! Will be something else tomorrow watching FC København being butchered by Juventus ....
Sure, the foot caught him in the goolies, but the laws of Newton were proved wrong when Williams foot in the mid rif caused forward momentum theory to be totally wrong as scientist realised it actually causes a player to launch upwards and over onto his shoulder......serves his own right for his theatrics. Hurt pride more than shoulder, me thinks...he will be a real good player when he grows up though.
That's nonsense, it was a poor tackle and a yellow but Williams did not mean to hurt him. To say it was a dive is just silly.
If anyone isn't proud about that 2nd half performance then I suggest go and follow the Ospreys end of
Williams got skinned and brought him down. Cynical yes but not in anyway dangerous, defenders do it all the time. Coutinho goes over his leg to win the foul, as all attackers do, and hurts himself. Just one of them things.
Oops quoted the wrong one! But no I never mentioned anything about him diving, just said he went over it to win the foul.
