I'm not happy either but with the bench we have I didn't expect any different since the fresh legs that we had available today aren't really good enough to make much of a difference

I'll take the point winning saves (opposed to point losing blunders) rather than the great kicks to the one guy who will inevitably pass backwards myself......

 

2-2. Fair result. Not happy, but not all that disappointed either.

 

Does anyone reckon we've missed Johnson and Agger? Not watching the game myself so can't comment.

Bollocks to the what ifs and this is what we should of done, i thoroughly enjoyed that game.

Mention to Henderson and studge who i thought played very well

special mention to Skrts who i thought was immense.

We missed Suarez more than Anyone else. When our passing game breaks down, he offers something different.

 

2 points dropped then.

Not where I would have guessed dropping points from first 4 games but that's life.

Still top of the table... just about.

 

Missed Johnson's attacking ability and the width he provides.
Everyones saying we have Kelly & Wisdom but they're CB's. Yes he might not be the best defensively but he makes up for that by causing problems the other way.

shako actually reminds me of Agger a lot, although he's better in the air. They both seem to dive into tackles and go to ground too easily, Sahko don't know if it was nerves, first game or because he's young etc so will wait to see, but Agger should no better and always pisses me off when he goes to ground and they just knock the ball past him.

Don't think we missed Agger too much to be honest.

But anyway, 10 points out of 12, unbeaten, top of the league, Sturridge on fire. Suarez to come back after 1 more Prem game

 

In the end not a bad result, but it's really concerning how our performance level drops in the last 30 minutes of games. Is it fatigue or is it how Brendan is actually wants our shape to be? Haven't seen our attacking football from last season that's for sure..

 

Done the negatives, now the positives.

We've over 90 minutes been pants for 4 games but unlike other years have 10 points out of 12. Wins instead of draws, draws instead of defeats. Progress, sort of.

Not a winning mentality like United or Chelsea? United didn't remotely look like winning until a dive, penalty & ten men, Chelsea got beat. City drew again.....we can't do better than go back to top of league while playing this pants.....

 

Sahko had a nightmare. We were poor in general but Sahko was at fault for both goals.

 

We could have put the game to bed in the first twenty, Swansea could have won it in the second. I'm happy with a point as I expected us to lose.

However, I am concerned that that is five games this season and we are yet to play a second half! Yes, the defensive side is doing its job (well, maybe not so much tonight and against Notts County) but it is the way we are playing, it is nothing like the first half displays.

Anyone else worried for the last twenty to thirty minutes? Our defence looked very shaky, I'd have preferred Toure in the middle but not so much Skrtel or Sakho on right.

 

Well I will take that point. Stuf to work on but moses scored on debut, 10 out of 12 points is still pretty good. Need to bounce back with a win.
