Agreed. I think he's been a little rash. You can tell he obviously has a good reading of the game, and he's strong in the tackle. But he's just a little bit off the pace in this one, but with it being his first half of Premier League football I'll let him off. I do think he'll turn out to be a brilliant signing, but this isn't a dream debut for him so far.

Sakho couldn't have a worse debut than Skrtels against have&water cup game...

Gosh I'm glad he improved so much. he was a nightmare that game.

 

I said earlier, he's looked good in the air and in possession, but he's missed 3 tackles now, first was too flat footed and square which allowed Shelvey past for the goal.

However I'd also like to point out Gerrard turning his back didn't help. If he'd stood there and taken any shot like a man, he'd have seen the ball go no where and could have cleared, but instead he turned, and didn't know where the ball was when it was right next to him.

 

Actually he reminds me of Skrts both in a good and bad way (first match of course)

He's trying too hard too impress. Hopefully he'll settle.

Yeah, heard Carra's comments. I've been impressed with Sakho because he's got his head on things and been able to reached balls he had no right of reaching. He has also been a bit crazy and looked a bit dodgy at times too. However, those could be put down to nervousness on a debut, especially with him being so young with a big price tag. They are also things that should get ironed out with time and experience.

Sakho made atleast 3 poor decision that would have led to a goal, plus the one we conceded which was a poor clearance. He needs to stay on his feet, very shaky so far, but it's his first game in a new league so i'm not going to get on his back yet. I was surprised he was given the start though.
