Well season tickets are out relativley soon so I am just wondering what stands the majority of the people on this forum sit in? Even if you aren't planning on getting a ST where abouts do you want to sit for any games you want to go to? I have had a season ticket in the Kingsland North for two seasons now, great atmosphere and view.
live in Northampton, and so season ticket has been subject of much debate with wife. However it is now back on the agend. We prefer to sit in Kingsland North, but the swaying point for the wife, might be that I can get one for free for my son if I buy mine in the Chapel. He won't like that as he likes Kingsland, but if it gives us the thumbs up from the wife, we may do it. Currently I am presenting the number of fixtures we have been to at St Mary's last season v cost of 1 + 1 free season ticket.
I get a seat within a seat or 2 of my old season ticket in Kingsland block 33. As I mentioned on another thread..no sun in face, out of rain and quite close to centre line.
We're the Kingsland, We're the Kingsland, We're the Kingsland over here!! Block 30, in line with the centre circle. Might move up to the Kingsland north this year, to save a few pennies.
Is the Itchen North opening for the coming season? i have read on a few sites, people suggesting it will be. if so i expect i'll be in there, use to be great when it was open before Rupert Lowe < ruined it, like many other things..
Block 41, JJ renewal!!! Have a feeling the Kingsland corner is gunna be the place to be next season! Fair play to you!!!
I'm not quite in the cool Kingsland North, my section is more pensioners with attitude...you know, we suck tictacs rather than polos.
Am ST holder in Itchen South back row but want to move to same position in Itchen North. However, tried to move last year and was informed rear 3 rows there were 'reserved'. Back row is always good for exchanging pleasantries (!) with the prawn sandwich brigade in the boxes but real reason is fantastic view SFC have heard Blocks 1, 2 and 3 are still going to be closed for league games - I was in Block 3 for skates cup game and atmosphere there was superb despite result
Hey that's quite enough of that Fran, there are other forums on the interweb for that sort of thing I dunno bloody islanders never change (I grew up in Ventnor) Best pub on the island, Bargemans Rest in Newport IMO
Same ticket of centre Itchen, had the same seat since St Marys opened and can't see myself changing in the future. I like a good view for my home games but on away days I love standing and some banter.
