Especially with Ozil playing in the hole as well. I think they could well destroy fanni.

Well, it looks like Gibbs might be the busiest player on the pitch tomorrow when he comes up against a skillful and pacy Valbuena.
I' play Flamini on the left side of Midfield just to provider cover and support for gibbs.

    Jenkinson--- Mertesacker ----- Kossy---Gibbs

    --------Ramsey -------Flamini-------

    --------Ozil-------

    Walcott ------ Giroud ----------Wilshere

    ----2-1----ARSENAL.

I'm not sure about Wilshere at LWF <yikes> but I agree about putting Flamini on the left to support Gibbs against Valbuena

Why don't we try putting Nacho or Gibbs as our left winger? Gibbs was a midfielder and Nacho is good going forward too. This would also bring extra defensive cover on the left against their best player. I just don't fancy having Wilshere on the left wing.

Tonight, for me, given the teams in our group is a must win game.

I wouldn't choose to play a LB at LW, but we do have good attacking options.

Gibbs started his career off as a forward and has the ability to go forward with pace. Not my preferred choice but we are bare on options at the moment and Wilshere is hardly a winger himself. Last thing you want to do is stick a player off form in a position he isn't native in.

So who is favourite to win the group and do you think we'll qualify?

While it's a good idea, we don't play with proper wingers anyway. Wilshere will alternate with Ozil (like against Sunderland). Before, when Cazorla played out there, he spent most of his time infield too.

Marseille always defend well in the Champions League, so we'll probably need more than just Ozil creating for us. If we're winning at 60 minutes, I would bring Monreal on then.

Dortmund will win the group, and it's between us and Napoli for 2nd.

We will win the group. Dortmund are a quality team that can beat anyone but I fancy us to come out on top.

Dortmund are rightly favorites from an outsider's perspective, but I wouldn't be surprised if we get 4+ points against them.

I think we'll lose points out of inconsistency more than not being a match for our opponents, as our players will be overworked compared to squads that have more depth in the first half of the season. We can practically rotate only 2-3 positions in our team in 4 competitions. That will ultimately cost us in one competition or another.

Ozil will make a huge impact on us and agreed gent, there is no guarantee that Dortmund will run away with it.

If Giroud just keeps banging away into that hole , Fanni will be get a right old workout. for sure.

If the surface is slippery , i can see them shooting too early .

We could struggle if it gets wet in Marseille, Fanni will be able to slip by our defence.
