Ffs last time I made that mistake was letting the gf choose what film to see, the choice was borat or black Xmas, she chose black Xmas and about 20mins in we both said **** this pile of ****e lets go to the pub lol

I generally only go to see films I know I will enjoy the last being batman rises, it's too expensive, I can't smoke a joint or pause it for the loo and that's why I only go for films I'm pretty sure ill enjoy nowadays

Great film but ST is a spastic for leaving it this long to watch it. At least he'll die happy tomorrow.

I'm a big bif fan of Michael and not a lot of people know that.

Sort of. What we need is someone to do the camerawork for us while we star in the film. <whistle>

I'll do it. You get the deckchair and I'll think up some convoluted plot involving a series of silly misunderstandings.

Then you can **** her and we'll post it on General Chat <ok>

Saturday afternoon I watched one that for some reason I managed to have missed for 42 years: War of the Worlds.

I thought they'd come up with some ingenious way to defeat the aliens but instead they all dropped dead of disease midway through flattening Los Angeles. If it had been a Hammer production, a scientist in a white coat would have found a way. Just saying.

True to the book though (apart from it being set in LA)

Prefer Day of the Triffids myself. If you can get a copy of this version it's well worth it:

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0055894/

The acting and special effects are so bad you'll piss yourself laughing.
