Clint's a true pro, with a great work ethic, who knows his abilities, wears his heart on his sleeve and will make a great manager/coach some day. Even the commentator indicated yesterday that he really no longer has the legs for the LB role, so much better played at CB - great cover for both positions though - Warnock was crazy to loan him to Forest in our 1st Premier League season.
Football focus isnt allowed on iplayer for various reasons. I think that two minute one is just a snippet as opposed to the full one. I was wondering myself where I could find the feature length as it were.
The whole thing will be on BBC iplayer when FootballFocus is put up I think? It looks like the content is still unavailable currently. Edit: didn't realise this! -
Don't want to frighten the children if they stumble across it whilst surfing the 'Net. The "full" interview contained very little extra. The short version that is freely available just cut out the interviewer and ran Clint's answers/remarks together so it looked more like one long speech.
Queens, he basically said soul was ripped out of club when Warnock left, said 11/12 season was ok, but all Hughes signings for 12/13 season was a disaster - players turning up late for training and physio treatments, no respect for their team-mates and didn't want to play for the club. Rednapp handed out so many fines, but because they were earning so much that a 10% fine meant nothing to them. Finished off by saying there was a much better atmosphere at club now, and he goes into training with a smile on his face, and that new players being bought in were up for challenge of Championship. All very positive from him for the future of the club - lets hope that translates into results on the pitch
