Christ I thought that was the Dermot Weld 2nd string but it's absolutely bolted up. Smart training performance Well done on Maxios Boris
Really hard to see that coming...appeared to be little between her EH and RD but she has bolted up. Good shout Eddie.
Good shout on Maxios Joe. Orfevre was his awesome self. I hope what is shaping up to be a decent Arc isn't spoilt by heavy going
Looking forward to the National Stakes next...Hannons horse being backed off the boards after the form being franked yesterday even if that winner only beat the dross from the Gimcrack....should be a good gallop with Friendship taking them along.
Nice performance..clever tactics by Coolmore letting him go on but he won nicely. The greedy ghastly Arabs will be buying this no doubt.
Cheers Ron, and everyone else I agree, Orfevre looks like he might even be better than last year, hard to know for sure tho until hes in a proper race, but hopefully the ground is decent and the best horse wins. Orfevre, Novellist and Treve, forget the rest.
Nicely nicely Bazza G on The Real Article. I feel the old darts arm warming up now the National Hunt season is approaching
Nice one Oddy. He's starting to get his act together over fences after a shakey start...mine jumped off last and was never put in the race and may need a little farther or a stiffer track these days...another couple of pounds off the assessor today. I remember backing TRA on his chasing debut when the awful Paddy Mangan just fell off like a Twiston Davies/Lucy Alexander...notable he hasn't been on top since!
Dex. The leaves are turning, early morning fog, temperatures dropping. It's nearly time for the jumps season
