    Hi Nutso

Hope you had a great night last night, the IrishRs are truly amazing! The dedication of coming over week after week, and it seems that every meet up is a party.. and all gentlemen to the man...
Especially you nuts, gallantly walking me to the tube to make sure I got there safely, even though we couldn't find it and had to ask a random woman!! I got home safely.

I think Brixton would have enjoyed the whole day...and thank you so so much Roller for arranging everything:- the meet up, getting Pat and Deon and his (Irish) girlfriend there, the presentation, getting the tickets together...for arranging the win (did cost a lot of money to pay off the linesman and the ref..not to give Birmingham any goals or penalties), the do in the evening....Fantastic Simon, thank you.

So now back to reality, cannot come on Tuesday, away for work...but come on u RRRs you can only get better

    Hi Beth
Was lovely to finally meet you.
Very late night. I think we killed Norway. He's officially MIA.
What a superb gang. We truly are NUTS.

PS Beth produced a fantastic quiz last night. Proud to say I didn't come last..............

I would like to add my thanks to Roller for organizing the get together, he obviously put a considerable amount of time and effort into it, and it is much appreciated.
That was some feat getting a bunch of lunatics from quite literally all around the globe assembled into a bar in a tiny corner of west London! Football gets a lot of bad press, both on and off of the field, but this is what it is all about, a group of people from different walks of life with one thing in common, the love for an unfashionable football club. Some would say we're soft in the head, but I don't think so, do you?
It completes the match day experience meeting up with everyone, chatting about past games, who should play in what position, who should be in team and shouldn't and why.
Although yesterday was slightly tinged with sadness as we were there to remember a forum great that was our BrixtonR, I wouldn't have missed it for the world, and what a lovely pair Pat & Deon are, I feel privileged to have met them.
I'd also like to thank nines for raising a glass to Hoopton who sadly is also no longer with us.
Finally, a final thank you from myself and my two boys for a great day. May we have many more!

Never has a truer word been spoken LOL :)

Can I blame it on the timing? Shouldn't have started drinking it so late... Should have listened to the seasoned pros around me :)

Almost no food all day and lots of drinks, baaaaaaad combo. Paying for it today! On the train to Stansted, running a bit late but should just about make it (I hope).

Great to renew old acquaintances yesterday, particularly of course Pat and Deon, and to meet Woody, Norway and Sooper. Sorry I didn't meet more but hopefully I will in time. Many thanks to Roller for arranging the meet. I'm so glad our team conjured up a win on BrixtonR's day.

If you read this Deon, and I believe you will because you're becoming a closet board member (!!), I hope things go really well for you, Pat and Louise. One of the consequences of losing a huge and attractive personality like your father is that it leaves a gaping hole in the lives of those left. Never forget how lucky you were to share your life with David, and indeed how fortunate he was to have all of you.

    Best wishes

    Mark - Goldhawk

    Not long back.

Wow is all I can say. Where do I start???? Thank god I didn't have to drive until 4pm this afternoon as any earlier and I would have been still over the drink drive limit. I haven't drank so much since the day we won the League against Leeds.

It was great to meet so many people who I know and a few new ones. Roller, you did a brilliant job in organising the day, the book and the article in the programme. The article in the programme brought a tear to my eye. It is a brilliant piece of writing. The choice of pub was excellent too. I really enjoyed everything about that pub and it brought back memories as that is where we went after my uncle died 10 years ago.

Beth, your little quiz was really great. You put so much time in to organising it. Thanks very much.

Nuts, Dermo, Norway and Kingdom and Sharon. You were great craic all night. I haven't laughed so much in ages. We would never win the Eurovision but boy did we try. I am sure that pub were delighted to get rid of us!

Finally, Pat & Deon. I was delighted to meet you both again. Both of you are very special people. I hope David was a happy man yesterday evening after the day. I am sure he was. You are always welcome to come to our gatherings in the future. Both of you are part of our Not606 family.

Thanks everybody. Think I need a week to recover.

    Here. Here.
Have to say you have all done Brixton, his family and the QPR family proud.
Have managed to keep up with the thread and goings on and have felt proud of all of you for an absolutely tremendous day to celebrate such a well deserving man.
Saw the programme write-up too, which was amazing.
Well done Roller, Nines and everyone. Very well done.

Evening all......I was going to do a quick post last night but by the time i got home I was a tad knackered and the phone battery was telling me it needed re-charging......

There isn't alot more I can add to what has already been posted .....but Nutso you must have the constitution of a horse.....to arrive at Dubin at 8am and to find you with an empty bottle of heineken in hand is some going when all I could face was a coffee at that time!!!!!

It was a brilliant day and Brix would have been looking down on us also enjoying himself.....Roller you got it so right in you speech and Pat's response was lovely.....even if it was the un-scipted one!!!!!

For 40 or so of us to converge from all parts to meet up and remember Brix says everything about the lads and lasses who contribute to this forum.....great people one and all.........

It was nice for the R's to organise a win for us, although it wasn't pretty , i would quiet happily take another 40 1-0 wins this season.....the voice has just about recovered, been a little hoarse all day......it was so much better than the Saints game last season.

Finally Corker has a new role for us in future......he is now the QPR Not606 official food taster for all of us......just to make sure it is safe to eat!!!!

It was a long day but it was one that will live with me for a long long time.......Thanks everyone....
